Although I had a basement room, it was super spacious, with a window, private hot shower.
Location is fantastic, next to the Vondelpark and basically walking distance to most of the hotspots.
I had a cleaner lady come into my room without knocking on check out day, 30min before checkout time.

Walking distance to the park and the museums
First night woke up to a noise of a mouse rummaging through my belongings, the kind receptionist helped moved me to a new room but unfortunately the bed had bed bugs (there were little black stuff on the bed that I ignored thinking they were some kind of fluff) and I didn’t realise till much later when the rashes from the bites started to appear.
When I arrived I was warmly welcomed by the reception staff. They were very friendly and explained everything I needed to know. The room was cozy and the bed was really comfortable. The location is amazing as well. Close to everything you need, like shops, restaurants, bars, and of course the beautiful Vondelpark. I really enjoyed my stay!
Everything was wonderful. The hotel was clean, cozy and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Everything was great overall. We only stayed for one night, so we didn’t have enough time to enjoy everything the hotel had to offer.
We hebben een ontzettend fijn verblijf gehad. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar vooral receptioniste Meriam. Ze was geweldig, ontzettend gastvrij en deed er alles aan om ons verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Dankzij haar voelden we ons echt welkom.
Eigenlijk is er tijdens ons verblijf niets geweest wat echt tegenviel. We hebben een hele goede ervaring gehad en zouden hier zeker opnieuw verblijven.

Really enjoy our stay. The location is great, and also our room was surprisingly spacious.

I’ll say the are some odd things at times. For axample the shower room didn’t have a door- which is fine for a couple but maybe can be a problem for some people.
The ac is very strong but I didn’t feel like changing the temperature did anything so at mornings the room was very cold.
Also I thought that some night lamps could be nice.

An incredible stay! The hotel is full of history with a true Dutch house feeling, complete with a lovely garden. Its location is genius for exploring landmarks, the staff is extremely professional, and it is very cost-effective for such a unique experience in a historic setting.
Highly recommended, zero complaints.
