Pleasant stay
Pros:

Check in and out was a breeze. The staff was very pleasant. There is remodeling going on but that did not hinder our stay. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing that we could find fault with is parking. The parking garage is small and very tight. Manuvaring in the garage and getting our truck parked was a challenge. Full disclosure, being we were there just one night we didn’t ask if there was additional parking.

Comfortable and convenient stay!
Pros:

Starting from check in to check out everything went very smoothly at the hotel.
The staff is great and very considerate.
Clean and quiet.. and the pillows are soooo comfy!
The location is unbeatable! Restaurants and shops are literally across the street or in walkable distance .. everything else is a short uber ride away!

Absolutely will stay again when visiting FL!

There’s construction/remodeling going on inside the hotel and on the front street right outside…
The main elevator was out of order too.

Pros:

Staff was pretty nice, suite was actually very pretty

Cons:

I booked a room with 2 queens, the tub did not drain which created a murky puddle after the other person showered. We called the front desk and no one came. We had to shower in the other room we booked...

Pros:

I liked that they had a giant chess game.

Cons:

Parking is limited and small. They charged the $125 incidental fee to my credit card and now they’re telling me it should be refunded in 5-7 days. It should not have been charged in the first place and just a “hold” placed. It shouldn’t take 5-7 days to refund it either. The air conditioning in the room was not very good and it leaked.

Perfect for Solo travelers
Pros:

I had a great stay at The Harrison Hotel. The room was very well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly complete, with good quality food and a well-stocked selection every morning.

The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location. It is located right behind Downtown Hollywood, which made me feel very safe as a solo traveler. Everything was close by, and the area had a very lively but secure atmosphere.

Cons:

One thing to keep in mind is that the hotel currently has some areas under construction, and they are also remodeling some of the rooms. The only downside was that the hallways sometimes had dust on the floors because of the work being done. However, the construction itself was never noisy or disruptive during my stay.

There is also construction happening on the street in front of the hotel, but I have to admit they were moving very quickly with the work during the 3 days I stayed there. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would stay again.

Nos gustó mucho el desayuno; muy completo y sabroso. El hotel tiene buena ubicación; ya que contaba con múltiples restaurantes, lugares de entretenimiento y hasta un pequeño supermercado cerca. Muy atento el caballero de recepción; siempre presto a ayudar y orientarnos.

Cons:

Tuvimos que pagar por el estacionamiento.
La habitación que me tocó era adaptada para movilidad reducida y tenía como olor a humedad, creo que era la alfombra de los lados de la cama y también le hacía falta algo de pintura a las paredes: pero la habitación que le tocó a mi cuñada estuvo muy bien.

Unorganized, Lack of communication, Misleading and Overall just made the experience worse than it had to be.
Pros:

Honestly nothing and not even making an answer out of emotion. Nothing special stood out. Only thing I could say is I appreciate the lady over the phone trying to explain the process but the hotel themselves made it worse than it had to be.

Cons:

Very confusing and frustrating checkout process. I booked through Booking.com and selected “Pay at Property,” but my card was still charged before arrival. The hotel explained there would be an incidental hold of around $125, which would later be refunded minus fees such as parking, pet fee, and any hotel purchases. However, the charges did not match what was explained.

I made the reservation for someone else who was supposed to pay everything at the property, yet I was charged on my card, and they were also charged multiple separate amounts on their card. The total charges were unclear and higher than expected. Even after the staff explained their process, the numbers still did not add up.

On top of that, the property was under construction, which was never clearly disclosed before booking. Overall, the payment process felt disorganized and misleading, and it made the stay unnecessarily stressful.

Pleasant Stay at Harrison Hotel in Hollywood, Florida
Pros:

I recently stayed at the Harrison Hotel in Hollywood, Florida for 3 nights and overall had a very good experience. The outside of the hotel is beautiful and welcoming. The rooms were very nice, clean, and looked exactly like the pictures online, which I really appreciated.

The location was excellent — only about 15 minutes from the airport and close to everything. There were several really nice restaurants within walking distance, and the nightlife was also nearby, making it very convenient and enjoyable.

One of my favorite parts of the stay was the breakfast. I had breakfast there every morning, and it was always great. The breakfast area itself was clean and inviting, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel lobby was also very welcoming and gave a great first impression.

The only downside was the hallway area on the 6th floor where I stayed. The hallways looked a little desolate and could definitely use some fresh paint, better lighting, and wall pictures or decor to make them feel more inviting. However, I did notice that the hotel is currently under construction and making improvements, so hopefully the hallways will be updated soon as part of the renovations.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would consider staying at the Harrison Hotel again because of the great location, friendly staff, nice rooms, and excellent breakfast.

Decent solo spot to stay don't expect too much
Pros:

Easy fast check it , easy parking , close to food and many other little things I needed , hot water

Cons:

No microwave had to waste food. And it should've be deep cleaned , too many visible stains on bed and shower curtain. Definitely is just a partially renovated motel.
