The room before I was rudly woken
There was a big group arriving around 10pm who decided that the hallway was the place to spend the night shouting, leaning against my door, ignoring my complaints. I felt threatened because they gathered at my doorway. I specifically asked for a quiet room as I had to be fresh and ready the next day. I was kept awake past anti social hours and even after a complaint to the front desk and the reception coming up to speak to them, I could still hear them once they were gone.
In the morning I paid for breakfast, some of it was completly cold and the air con was on max. It was extremely cold and other guests complaind about it to me when they saw me cold.
I am not happy that they put me in a room near a big party as my only reason for staying with to feel rested for my big day. The next day I was so exhausted I had to abondon my whole reason for being there, which was training for an exam, and go back home, which was a long distance. My entire trip was an expensive waste.
The hotel refused to give me a refund, which for a chain hotel I thought was a disgrace. My stay was difficult to fund for me, a refund is peanuts to them.
L'hôtel est bien situé sur la route de Londres vers l'Écosse, à quelques minutes de l'autoroute, facile à trouver. Le parking disponible sur place. Un restaurant juste à côté, mais on n'a pas pu mangé, car les repas n'étaient plus servis après 20h 😔 Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner, mais le personnel a été très aimable et m'a permis de prendre un verre de lait pour mon fils. Je recommande pour un séjour court le temps d'une nuit sur la route. Quartier calme, mais plutôt rien à voir aux alentours.

Check in was quick and the gentleman checking us in was very polite and welcoming. The room was bright and spacious. We really liked the fact that the furniture was open plan, modern and didn't have standard wardrobes and draws. Beds and pillows were super comfy and clean. The bathroom was also modern and clean. We loved the walk in shower. Breakfast in was morning was tasty and fresh. If anything ran out we only had to mention and the staff replaced it within minutes. Overall a very nice stay and we will definitely book again.
There was no toilet brushes in our bathroom or the toilets in the main reception. Toilet brushes really should be provided.
The room was clean and comfortable. Although I was there for 5 nights there was no service of the room so no towels were changed, this didn’t bother me at all but the in room coffee facilities were not replenished and the cups changed, this would have been appreciated. The breakfast was very good.
The restaurant for dinner had only a basic menu although the service was good. I would add that whatever you do, don’t use the restaurant nect door to the hotel, I made the mistake of doing that on my 2nd night and I have to say that it was truly awful!!

Needed a deep clean in the bathroom
The hotel was difficult to find and the room needed 2 small comfortable chairs.
The location is okay for an overnight stay. It is next to a couple of industrial units and a pub/restaurant, nothing else really, but if that is all you need, it is fine.
Very comfortable, clean and surprisingly quiet. Plenty of free parking.
There was no plug in the bathroom basin, and the shower drained very slowly indeed. We were concerned it would overflow! No-one at reception when we checked out, so we didn't have the opportunity to report it.
Clean and spacious. Friendly staff. We booked because there was an EV charger, which worked perfectly for us, and we were breaking our journey up to Scotland.
The air con was a bit tricky, but that could just have been me!
