Great location in Hollywood and one of the few hotels where you still receive a genuinely warm and personal welcome.

This hotel is a perfect example of how outstanding service can make all the difference. For our children, this was their favourite hotel of the entire trip. They spent hours in the pool, enjoyed the complimentary drinks, soft serve ice cream and snacks, and absolutely loved calling the famous red Popsicle Hotline by the pool, where someone personally delivered ice pops within minutes. To our children, this was the real Magic Castle, even more magical than the one at Disneyland 😉 🏰

The rooms are a little dated, but they were very clean, which is what mattered most to us. We also really appreciated the complimentary laundry service. You simply put your clothes in a laundry bag, hand it in, and by the evening everything is washed, dried and neatly folded. As a family on a long road trip, this was incredibly convenient.

The combination of thoughtful extras, exceptional hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere made this one of the most memorable hotels of our vacation. We would happily stay here again

Our kids LOVED the Magic Castle Hotel. The pool, the popsicle hotline, the all you can eat soda and ice cream - they were in heaven!
The hotel itself is pretty tired and old, but the exceptional service offsets all of that. The location was also fantastic for wanders down Hollywood Boulevard and day trips to Universal Studios

If I could give the Magic Castle Hotel more than five stars, I absolutely would. This was, without question, the best hotel stay of my life.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. Every single employee we interacted with was warm, friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail and commitment to exceptional hospitality truly set this hotel apart.

The amenities were incredible and full of thoughtful touches that made the experience unforgettable. The famous complimentary popsicle hotline by the pool was such a fun surprise, and the unlimited free snacks and drinks throughout the day made us feel completely taken care of. The heated pool was spotless and relaxing, and the entire property was impeccably maintained.

Our room was spacious, spotless, and exceptionally comfortable. Everything was clean, well stocked, and designed with guests’ comfort in mind. It’s clear that the hotel takes great pride in creating a welcoming, family friendly atmosphere while still providing outstanding service for every guest.

The location is another huge advantage. It’s just a short walk to Hollywood attractions while still feeling like a peaceful retreat from the busy streets.

What truly makes the Magic Castle Hotel special is the people. The staff consistently exceeded every expectation with their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine desire to make every guest feel special. It’s rare to find service this exceptional, and it’s something we’ll never forget.

Thank you to everyone at the Magic Castle Hotel for creating such an unforgettable experience. We made wonderful memories here, and I can honestly say this was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back and recommend it to everyone I know!

Our stay was the most amazing I ever had I’ve never been treated so well I felt like royalty the staff and services were top notch. From champagne at the door to a warm blanket for a nighttime movie by the pool. There are a lot of businesses the could use the Magic of the Magic Castle Hotel as a benchmark for their business

I can't recommend Magic Castle highly enough! From the welcome glass of champagne, to the 24-hour free snacks, to the WARM pool with a popsicle hotline (that is for REAL), to the softserve machine right outside my hotel room, to the movie nights under the stars, to the filling (and again FREE) daily breakfast, to the incredibly entertaining and welcoming staff (I see you, Kevin Nelson!), I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I also love the absolute mid-century Hollywood glam era vibe of this place. It's perfect for families too, as on Fridays they have a magician who comes around to all the tables and entertains kids and adults alike. While we were there, Kevin was able to get us tickets to the Magic Castle next door, which I also highly recommend, the magic shows and illusionists there are second to none. All in all, a 10 out of 10 visit, every time we go. And if Kevin welcomes you, you are in for a treat, he is just the best.
