Beautiful property in a beautiful location
Pros:

Beautiful property, old style class and elegance. The staff were easy to deal with, a simple late check in process and I loved the cheese platter I arranged for my room and the complementary wine.

Cons:

I don't think there was anything I didn't like.

Comfortable lux in a great location

We loved the English charm of the property, it felt like a step back in time.

Cons:

It looks a little tired, some areas need a little TLC. It was winter but none of the fireplaces were lit and the restaurant was closed.

漂亮的飯店
Pros:

古堡很漂亮，佈置很有宮廷氣息，還有懷舊的電視跟音樂，房間、浴室很大很漂亮。
從房間望出去，在遠方草皮上看到袋鼠！

Cons:

如果過了櫃台時間才入住，一定一定要跟飯店先聯絡。我們拿到了鑰匙，像在密室逃脫一樣，不知道如何進入飯店，電話打了很久才有回應，還好飯店人員蠻有耐心的。
建議旅館的指示可以清楚一點，在淡季去又是天黑，周圍完全沒有人可以協助，有點可怕。
浴室到了晚上小蟲很多，房間一些比較角落的地方灰塵很重。
從門口到房間有一些階梯，對行李箱不太有善。
但飯店真的很漂亮。

De verwachting van een 5 sterren hotel is niet uitgekomen
Pros:

Het is wintertijd dus het hotel had buiten de kamer geen faciliteiten met uitzondering van een ontbijt. Daar hebben we de eerste ochtend gebruik van gemaakt maar de prijs ( $35) kwaliteit was in onbalans. Je mocht 1 gerecht kiezen a la carte. De dame bij de receptie was vriendelijk. Tot slot werd ook geen helpende hand geboden met onze koffers ( 4 stuks) van de receptie naar onze kamer.

Cons:

We begrijpen dat het wintertijd is en dat het hotel op een “ laag pitje” draait echter dat hoeft niet ten koste gaan van hospitality en kwaliteit - prijs.

Thank you for a unforgettable stay
Pros:

Huge room with huge bath. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was a nice sitting room we sat in after our day in the wineries. Beautiful old world grandeur on the doorstep of the Yarra. Loved it!

A wonderful overnight stay on our way to Melbourne. Will need to come back to experience it further
Pros:

The overall grounds and setting plus the communal spaces were welcoming and beautiful. We didn't eat here but bought take away pizza for dinner as we didn't want to drive and our rooms were so beautiful we just wanted to stay in.

Cons:

Having a restaurant on site or some sort of food available in the evening would have been nice but not a deal breaker.

Pros:

Everything about Chateau Yering was fantastic. In particular the customer service from the team was incredible. The facilities are amazing and overall it was a fun place to stay

Cons:

The only negative was the AI system the company has implemented to screen and direct calls. I needed to speak to a person about our late check in, and the AI system kept directing me to the night team (calling at midday) where I could not leave a message. I was only able to speak to a person after sending a message via booking.com and requesting a staff call me. It was very frustrating as we were about to fly and when I call a company during their opening hours, I want to be able to speak to a representative of the company
In hospitality and guest services, being able to speak to a real human is critical. Please do away with your AI system.
