Very nice Pool

We liked our previous stays at this resort (booked on-site) but not this time.
On booking.com, we booked a Deluxe King Suite. We got a Deluxe Cottage. We also booked a Standard Suite and got a Cottage Suite. When we talked to the office and told them we had not booked the cottages we were told that what Booking.com had booked for us is what we received. We were also told that there is no such thing as a Deluxe King Suite. There is a big disconnect between the room names on Booking versus the names at the Seashell Village Resort. Also, the cottages are not updated. They are in need of big updates. The furniture, appliances are old and bathrooms need updates. All in all, a very disappointing and uncomfortable stay.
The staff was very kind and accommodating.

I did not like that we have to take our own trash to the dumpster and do dishes upon leaving.
The place was very nice. They had a small kitchen if you were staying a while and wanted to cook. The place was very clean and comfortable.
The location, the view of the pool, the size of the room, and overall village feel was very pleasant.
There is clearly not enough parking on site. We witnessed many vehicles just sitting waiting for a spot trying to figure out what to do. Nothing worse than planning a trip, paying for somewhere to sleep, and having no where to put your vehicle. Seems kind of ridiculous. I would plan ahead next time and ask the staff where overflow parking is, if you can park in the driveway, what the best option is... maybe they can add a spot for gold cart parking because golf carts were taking up a lot of spaces.
Also- my biggest complaints are: broken blinds which effect how bright the room is, kind of run down in the corners and appliances (could really use a deep clean), the sheets provided for the pull out bed were awful. I felt so bad having my child sleep on that bed. I highly recommend bringing your own queen size linens if you have someone sleeping on the pull out.
The pool was great and the distance to the beach was super close by.

The internet was really bad, but we didn’t really come to watch tv. We’ve been coming for the last 3 years! And it never disappoints!
Very close to beach and cheaper golf cart rentals, also 24/7 maintenance incase you get locked out of your room! Very cold ac too

Location near the beach. Separate unit from the others. Parking in front of the unit.
The price for one night was way too high. My tub had a Crack in it and was covered up with tape and a floor mat. The trim around the counter top was loose and hanging off.
