otherwise nice and peaceful stay except for the first night there was some party in a room above us
Pros:

breakfast was really nice. location right in the centre

Bathroom had heating on the floor so dried quickly

Cons:

a lot more worn out than in the pictures (this is not unusual of course)

walls should be cleaned, bathroom wall had silver shampoo on it, also wall next to window had marks

pillows and blankets were old and yellow and could be renewed for this price

also complimentary pool is misleading as they have only two cards to swimming area and they were in use when we wanted to go so we had to pay for entrance

Eigentlich ein tolles Hotel in guter Lage gleich neben der Kathedrale. Sehr gutes Frühstück!

Cons:

Grundsätzlich war alles OK, das Hotel ist einfach etwas in die Jahre gekommen...

Hyggelig personale, god frokost, ELENDIG prosedyre på innsjekking.

God frokost

Cons:

Elendig innsjekking. Rommet var klart, men fikk ikke sjekke inn tidligere med mindre man betalte ekstra. Hadde familie på nabohotellet, og de fikk rom med en gang uten ekstra betaling.
Toalettet var klin inn i veggen, og satt meget dårlig dær.

Fantastic!
Pros:

Great and friendly staff at front desk. Altogether I stayed for a week but first 3 days were on business then stayed on for holiday the other 4 days. We gota room upgrade, welcome platter since we were celebrating our union. Only negative is that even as a Scandic member staying for a week, I was told I had to pay kr. 150 to check in early. It's not a huge amount, but it took away something from overall experience. If one pays and chooses to stay Sunday to Sunday, I would imagine an early check in at 1400hrs would not hurt. I am also a member of Thon and Radisson and once room is ready and available, they wave the early/late checkout fee. Otherwise, great hotel, great stay.
