Location is great. The bed was comfortable
Price was high. There is carpeting everywhere which I find gross and out dated.
We asked where to eat and staff should recommend what they believe are good quality restaurants. I feel the recommendations are part of the package.
it was downtown and the building was so unique and gorgeous
it was extremely noisy with the honking and people partying and yelling in the streets. Not much parking so had to use a parking garage across the street that was a bit sketchy
The hotel is beautiful. The staff is really friendly. The beds were so comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located downtown, so we could walk everywhere. The hotel also provided a shuttle to the music event we went to, which was just a bonus.
If the treasury was open on a Sunday
Location and comfort were great
It’s a beautiful hotel right on the riverfront. . Great location and the guest room was very spacious. Would definitely stay there again.
One of the bartenders wasn’t very friendly, almost condescending. The others working in the bar were very friendly.
Great atmosphere, rooms were comfortable. Beds compared to ours at home
Nothing comes to mind
Love to come back
The falls were amazing
We came to say goodbye to a dying friend in the hospital
Everyone was great
Comfortable beds! The staff were more than friendly and helpful. We rented bikes from the hotel for $10! The location was amazing, right downtown near shopping, food, entertainment, close to the falls and the trail.
Please read regarding Hotel on Phillips!!!! Their elevator does not work. After getting stuck in the elevator AND after my husband AND daughter were hit by the elevator door… I was told to get the f$$$ out of their hotel AND I was called a stupid bi$$$ by their “maintenance man”. This hotel DOES NOT CARE about the safety of their patrons or about their customers period. I cannot imagine saying the things that were said to my family and me to anyone let alone a customer. Not to mention, the lack of an operating elevator and action plan to help those who get stuck in an elevator IS A HUGE fire safety risk. I implore everyone to FIND another hotel if you should visit the Sioux Falls area. Hotel On Phillips DOES NOT CARE about their customers or their customers safety and well being!!! WE WILL NEVER RETURN SIOUX FALLS BECAUSE OF Hotel On Phillips !!!!!!
We decided to spend the night in Sioux Falls on our way to Rapid City to visit Mount Rushmore. Rather than stay close to I-90, we drove into the city and stay at the Hotel on Phillips. What a great decision. This stately old bank converted into a hotel is a true gem. The elements of an old style bank have been preserved, but the rooms are updated with great decor and amenities. It was quiet, the service was friendly and impeccable, and the room was quiet. We had a great night's sleep. The value was unbelievable. I know that Sioux Falls is probably not a destination for many travelers, but even so, the price for my very, very nice room was absolutely shockingly reasonable! My advice, do not stop at the quick off I-90 and quick back on alternatives. Drive on into the city and stay at the Hotel on Phillips. It's worth the short drive.
Historic property with a bonus speakeasy! Comfortable and clean accommodations. Front desk staff very helpful.
Great feeling and location in downtown Sioux Falls. Great onsite bar!
Onsite parking not included, but there are multiple public parking ramps nearby.
