Despite the cleanliness, we still managed to have a great stay.
Pros:

The size of the room and its amenities were perfect for the stay. The location was perfect! Victoria greeted me with a smile as soon as I entered and every time I came to the desk.

Cons:

The cleanliness of the property. I honestly think a pet had been previously in the room (219). The room wasn’t very clean. There was still long noticeable hair in the bathroom on the floor, toilet seat, shower, and sink. I found 2 sucker straws stuck to the baseboard along the wall near the table by the trash can. The comforter had a visible dark stain in the middle. The cleanliness of the kitchen area was disappointing none of the tables had been wiped clean. We had to clean one just to sit down to eat breakfast. Several of the plates were still dirty. These are the main concerns of what the didn’t like.

The teenagers hanging out on the property. There were a lot of teenagers who were not staying at the hotel hanging out in the parking lot.

Great business/ family stay
Pros:

The hotel is a great location. Clean and inviting on check in, and the breakfast was good for this type of hotel. The stand out was Victoria who worked the evening at the desk, she couldn't be more helpful and friendly! Would stay here again if we are in Huntsville.

The fitness center was very nice. Lots of options. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

The breakfast could have been better. We’ve had better in other Hyatt Places in the past two months. Potatoes seemed under cooked and eggs were way overcooked. Otherwise we had a nice stay.

Keep low expectations…
Pros:

This property has great potential and great location in Huntsville and either is going through a management change or I just had a very bad combination working the day that I spent at this property. My only advice is don’t set your hopes to normal Hyatt expectations until they work out whatever issues they are having staff wise with their day staff.

I don’t think I have ever written a bad Hyatt review, but this property did not come close to meeting my expectations.

Pros:

Rooms are nice and spacious beds are comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

Weird smell when you walk to the elevators. I think the bathrooms downstairs might have a plumbing issue.
