Hyatt Place Huntsville - Research Park - Redstone

The fitness center was very nice. Lots of options. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This property has great potential and great location in Huntsville and either is going through a management change or I just had a very bad combination working the day that I spent at this property. My only advice is don’t set your hopes to normal Hyatt expectations until they work out whatever issues they are having staff wise with their day staff.

I don’t think I have ever written a bad Hyatt review, but this property did not come close to meeting my expectations.

Very friendly staff, room was clean and bed was very comfortable!

Rooms are nice and spacious beds are comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

They had a great breakfast every morning. The pool was a little small, but was fun.

This hotel will be a great pick for someone who is looking for an updated, clean, modern design, spacious, and great price to stay . It is located within walking distance of shopping mall, and many great restaurants. Excellent staff available to assist you.

We were genuinely excited because the hotel is in a fantastic area for a family with children and mixed hobbies. When we arrived, the staff was friendly and kind.

The next morning, the breakfast was a bit of a mess. The hotel seemed to be understaffed and under-prepared for the guests staying over the weekend. We ended up not being able to eat much and found food else where.

The second day was even worse, the staff member at the front desk was awful. She was on her phone the entire time and several times she called her managers over speaker phone. She refused to assist customers with anything her than a checkout that consisted of no changes.

After breakfast the second day, my daughter and I returned to our room and there was a roach in the room. I attempted to use the room phone to call the front desk and it didn't work. I used my cell and it took me three calls to finally get someone to respond. We packed and went to checkout and there was a different employee. She was very kind, but I don't think her job was the front desk. She was nearly in tears trying to checkout guests.

Regardless of the location, I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed here prior to drop-off at Space Camp. The hotel was conveniently located near the camp and great restaurants, making it easy to meet up with fellow campers. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, the room spacious and clean, and the service excellent. It was good value for the money and a great place to rest after a very long ride to camp.

Great location and nice hotel at a fair price. I was there on business but i toured the space museum, which is very cool!!!

Room was very nice, had fridge, microwave and standard tv channels (No HBO or Netflix) they should upgrade their TV's to smart TV's so that you can log into your existing accounts for movies.

Location and cleanliness

Service there was acceptable while I stayed there but the invoice was incorrect. I was told to not worry, that manager would take care of the changes. This was from their own administrative mistakes in the invoice being incorrect. Sent emails and tried to leave voicemails but that was full every time I called. I tried call many times but every time they transferred me to the manager never responded.
