Seriously comfortable with amazing views from their 5th floor terrace. I loved seeing guests bringing their own food and drinks to the terrace - away from the nearby crowds! It's a bit spendy but worth it! (It's a short cab ride from the train station.)
I understand the price can be what it is due to the location but can't help but feel that it could be a little cheaper, or at least include parking in the reservation. All in all, the roof deck was lovely and the location couldn't have been nicer.
LOCATION, views, terrace, service
Very disappointing customer service.
Beware of getting false information from staff.
Before booking, I called Inn at the Market to specifically ask whether a promotional rate I had received by email was refundable. There is no refund policy on their website. I was told it was refundable with 24 hours’ notice, so I booked it. Seconds later, my confirmation email stated the reservation was prepaid, non-refundable, and non-changeable.
I immediately called back and spoke with the Front Office Manager, Ken. He acknowledged the misunderstanding and told me not to cancel, saying he would “work something out” if I needed to. However, after several emails back and forth, I could never get a clear written answer confirming what that actually meant.
If your staff gives incorrect information, the hotel should stand behind it instead of leaving customers with vague promises and uncertainty. I expected much better customer service from a hotel with Inn at the Market’s reputation. Unfortunately, I won’t be staying here in the future.
We spent 4 nights in a deluxe water view room, located on the 8th floor with great views across the waterfront. The room was large and well-appointed but let down by a very small bathroom, single vanity, shower only and no storage space. Nightly turndown service was inconsistent. The 5th floor of the hotel had a guest terrace with fire pits. We had mixed responses from reception staff, Jay was polite but didn't follow through, whilst Abigaile was really helpful and able to sort out Jay's mess. Good location in the heart of downtown with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby as no meals are provided.
Staff was helpful and friendly, room and location were great. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family
Boutique style hotel
Perfect location
Everyone so so helpful
Great location right next to Market and many other downtown attractions. Rooftop firepits with view of harbor.
The prefect location to everything in dwtn Seattle. Clean, simple, elegant room. Staff the could not be more friendly and accommodating. 10 stars if it were possible
Great hotel! Our room was awesome: good views from 3 windows, with plenty of space and nice design.
The rooftop terrace with firepits was a great place to head up to with wine and or dinner for a relaxed option with great views of Puget Sound.
We just got home from a quick overnight stay after our cruise. This hotel is beautiful and we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The view we had from our waterview room was gorgeous!! The bed was comfy and the hotel was quiet. We even got to enjoy the little terrace area with the fire pits at night. We would definitely choose this hotel again if we were ever in Seattle. Highly recommend!
posizione ottimale , camera con vista su waterfront meravigliosa,
Fantastic service and perfect location at Pikes Place!
As others have mentioned, the location cannot be beat since it is in the heart of Pike Place Market. We had the double room -- the room and bathroom were both incredibly spacious. The rooms are a bit pricey for what you get, as it is not a luxury room -- you are really paying for the location. There is a nice rooftop area where there is a nice view and you can relax.
Great location; excellent staff; airport pickup available; we sat out on the terrace for a picnic dinner - fun. The room rate was very expensive - it was near the 4th of July plus during FIFA matches.
Location, quality of room
Expensive but you can see why
Great hotel, lovely room, very clean, spectacular views of the waterfront, you get use of their outside terrace where you can bring your own food/drink to enjoy. The attached Bacco cafe breakfasts were amazing.
We had mixed feelings about our stay at the Inn at the Market.
This was our first visit to Seattle, and we didn’t realize that staying next to Pike Place Market means being in the center of one of the city’s busiest tourist areas. The location is incredibly convenient, but guests looking for a quieter experience should know that cruise ship traffic and crowds can make the area feel lively and bustling.
We stayed for three nights, traveled elsewhere for a few days, and then returned for two more nights. Because we needed two beds, our room options were limited, but that wasn’t a problem. In fact, we preferred our first room (701), which was on a higher floor and away from the street. It was quiet and had a wonderful bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.
Our second room (419) was a different experience. It was closer to the street and noticeably noisier. The bathtub shower controls were difficult to figure out—I nearly flooded the bathroom trying to use them—and the tub itself drained very slowly, leaving water pooling around my ankles while I showered.
At the same time, there was plumbing work taking place across the hall, with workers, equipment, and intermittent noise during our stay. While we understand that maintenance issues arise, the combination of the bathroom problems and the ongoing work made us wonder whether the room was ready for guests at that time.
Housekeeping was another area where our experience fell short of expectations. We were told to expect nightly turndown service, including refreshed coffee supplies, chocolates, and other small touches, but we found the service inconsistent and were often unsure whether it would occur. On more than one occasion, we contacted the front desk for clarification or assistance.
Because we otherwise enjoyed the hotel, I contacted management privately rather than posting a review right away. I shared our concerns about the construction noise, housekeeping issues, and a few smaller details, such as incorrect instructions for the in-room coffee machine.
What surprised me most was the response. Rather than simply acknowledging our experience, I was told that security camera footage had been reviewed and that hotel records indicated we had either received turndown service or displayed a “Do Not Disturb” sign.
I understand the hotel wanted to verify what happened, and a $150 credit was offered, which I appreciated. Even so, my recollection of the stay differed from the hotel’s records. I would have appreciated a more empathetic response and an acknowledgment that our experience did not match the level of service we had anticipated.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly La Campagne. We ate there three times, and every meal was heavenly. We also enjoyed the friendly front desk team.
Inn at the Market has plenty of charm. With a little more consistency and communication, it could be an even better experience.
I enjoyed this hotel was clean and customer service was spot on. Friendly and inviting. Great stay. Was quiet too!
