Wonderful stay
Pros:

The location of the Sao Paulo was perfect, we hired a car and there was never a problem finding a parking space in the surrounding streets. The breakfast was wonderful and we particularly liked the extended sitting for breakfast from 8.30am to 11am. The room was spotlessly clean as was the shower. There are two sitting rooms for the guests to use also. Our check-in was after 8pm and one member of staff remained onsite to facilitate our check-in. There were numerous restauarants to choose from also.

Cons:

Nothing, we were very happy.

un hôtel que je recommande… à condition d'éviter la chambre en mansarde!
Pros:

l'hôtel est très bien situé dans le centre de Tavira à quelques secondes à pied des restaurants et à quelques minutes du ferry pour l'ile de Tavira et sa plage. L'hôtel est très beau, la décoration est soignée et le manager est très aimable et n'hésite pas à donner de précieux conseils de visite. Le petit déjeuner servi dans une salle adjacente à l'hôtel est excellent.

Cons:

Malheureusement pour nous, nous étions dans la chambre en mansarde, sous les toits donc. 1er problème: la climatisation. Pour une raison étrange le climatiseur n'est pas orienté vers la chambre et vu le volume de la pièce, on ne reçoit quasiment pas d'air frais au niveau du lit et même en mettant la température à 17°, la chaleur est quasi insupportable (il faisait 27° à minuit dehors). 2ème problème : impossible d'avoir de l'eau froide ou même tiède dans la douche! Quand vous rentrez d'une journée en plein cagnard, ne pas pouvoir prendre une douche fraiche et extrêmement frustrant. 3ème problème: le coin salle de bain-WC ne ferme pas , il n'est donc pas possible d'avoir de l'intimité aux toilettes ce qui peut en rebuter certains. Enfin 4eme problème, la chambre est sous le toit, un toit en V ce qui fait qu'il faut faire extrêmement attention pour ne pas se cogner aux poutres (ce qui malheureusement nous est arrivé). Je précise que ces problèmes sont propres à cette chambre et que d'après ce que j'ai pu voir, ils n'existent pas dans les autres chambres de l'hôtel.

Pros:

Wunderbar persönliches und schön eingerichtetes kleines Guesthouse mit freundlicher Betreuung, leckerem Frühstück und an zentraler Lage.

Cons:

Das Zimmer im Tiefparterre war etwas dunkel, dafür im Sommer sicher schön kühl.

Charmant séjour avec petit déjeuner exceptionnel
Pros:

Le bâtiment a été rénové avec énormément de goût. Le charme de l’ancien est très présent. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent avec des produits frais.

Cons:

L’acoustique et l’isolation thermique sont très moyens mais dans les standards pour une bâtisse de cette époque.

One our favorite places from all our travels and there have been many!
Pros:

The location was right perfect and close to everything but not noisy. The staff were very accommodating and the decor was fabulous....original paintings combined with both modern and antique pieces in a most unique and marvelous blend. The breakfast was laid out in an exquisite manner and with only 5 rooms, it was intimate and uncrowded.

Fab hotel
Pros:

I loved everything about our stay . but must say as we were on top floor the floor boards were very creeky . Apologies to any one under us . The hotel is very funcky with a relaxed atmosphere and the art is amazing so all in all a happy stay .

Hiden gem with great character and friendly staff
Pros:

This boutique hotel is situated in the square in Tavira old town and is close to restaurants and bars and only 5 minutes walk to the main town over the river where there are more great restaurants and bars.it is ideally situated to explore the area.
The hotel itself is converted from a historic family home which has been converted. The décor is traditional and rooms are lovely, roomy and quant. The staff are friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond to assist with recommendations for restaurants Etc. to the rear of the property is an oasis of a courtyard garden with a small pool perfect for a sunbathe and chill. The breakfast was really lovely in a great setting of the old wine cellar. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cons:

Honestly can not think of anything negative to say !!
