A beautiful, charming, original hotel in the magical old town with a tram stop right outside.
Pros:

The historic, original building is lovely. Freiburg Im Breisgau is just beautiful. The hotel is in a perfect location. Staff are friendly and accommodating. We asked to take a night time drink up to our room and this was not a problem at all.
Luggage storage, nice breakfast.
The room itself was very clean quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The trams stop right outside, and there is luggage storage should you need it.

Cons:

Nothing.
I would recommend and stay again.

Kamer was goed, bediening waardeloos
Cons:

De bediening in het restaurant/buitenterras was waardeloos.
Was eerst vergeten welk voorgerecht ik besteld had, vergat bij het hoofdgerecht het bestek, bracht spaetzel in plaats van de bestelde pommes, en het bestelde nagerecht heb ik nooit gezien. Typisch iemand die ongeschikt is voor dit soort werk.

Gut gelegenes Hotel in der Stadt mit gutem Frühstück
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage, zu Fuss alles schnell erreichbar. Das Frühstück hat alles was es braucht, für mich ausreichend.

Cons:

Leider ist es während der Sommerzeit kaum zu empfehlen. Bei unserer Anreise um 17.30 Uhr war es ca. 50 Grad im Zimmer. Keine Klimaanlage! Notabene war es draussen 38 Grad und wir wären froh gewesen um ein gekühltes Zimmer. In der Nacht hatten wir immer noch gefühlte 30 Grad was es fast unmöglich machte zu schlafen. Sehr schade, es gibt ja Preisgünstige Klimaanlagen die unbedingt in die Zimmer gehören.

Jederzeit wieder!
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt, das ist eine hervorragende Lage für die Erkundung der wunderschönen Umgebung. Das leckere Essen wird in einem sehr schön gestalteten und gemütlichen Restaurant von einem kompetenten und überaus freundlichen Kellner serviert.
