Best Front Desk Team at Anchorage Hampton Inn
Pros:

PRO:
Direct number to Hotel Front Desk for Shuttle and answer questions.

CON:
More than we've ever paid before at a Hampton ($299 + tax per night), but needed to get there from Fairbanks (AK) for medical procedure.

PRO:
Shuttle pick up/drop off at the Airport.

Front Desk excellent help.
Ronald, Jay & Tofi checked several times to make sure everything was Ok.
BONUS points for helping me use Uber for the first time to get back & forth to stressful Providence Medical appointments.

Mylene did excellent job keeping complimentary breakfast area replenished and clean. Both mornings we were there, saw her helping several elderly guests (who were juggling walkers) by carrying their food to the tables.

Rooms very clean and ready on time. Cleaning staff friendly and exchanged out towels as we didn't need full service for only 2 days.

Con:
Window curtains don't close all the way (so used closet hanger clips to try and darken the room a little more.)

Bathtubs need some tub decals put down as VERY slippery. We had to keep grabbing the rail.

Adequate but lacking...
Pros:

Exceptionally friendly and courteous staff at the front desk. Easy to find hotel and adequate parking. Common areas were clean when we checked in. The room was very clean.
Ate at the Applebee's basically in the parking lot and it was good.

Cons:

We booked because we were in Anchorage for a night and wanted a hot tub but it was out of order that night. Which happens.
For us in room 103, the bed was really soft and sunk down in the center making it hard to get comfortable.
The shower water pressure was very low. It took forever to even rinse off soap. This was a single handle knob and maybe it's blocked or something but the sink has almost twice the flow which would be nice in the shower.
Breakfast was what we expected and had the usual choices for a chain hotel. I do feel breakfast was understaffed because while service put out food as fast as they could the available area to eat became more and more littered with food and other things as there wasn't anyone cleaning it up.

Pleasant staff but my room needed damage to furniture and counter repaired.
Pros:

Staff seemed helpful and willing to offer options.

Cons:

Furniture and counter in bathroom was damaged. Lamp shade was broken. Someone attempted to open my door around one AM. Then there yelling in the hallway and outside in the parking lot behind my room. Man sounded drunk. Alarm clock did not work and was no way to reset it.

Friendly staff. Clean place. Delicious free breakfast options. Shuttle bus to and from the airport. I was able to extend my stay and keep my same room with no issues.

Clean Accomodations
Pros:

The shower was clean. Everything worked. There was soap, shampoo, etc provided. Extra towels were refreshed each day. The bedding was clean. The place smelled good.

Cons:

I've never been to a Hampton Inn where there was no free wifi and I was forced to purchase wifi. This was shocking and definitely the industry standard, especially for paying $150/night for a room.
