Great stay, but choose your room carefully
Pros:

Nice and cozy, right by the beach with a great view. The north side is a perfect trade-off between having a nice view and staying quiet.

Cons:

The strand view rooms on the first floor look really bad IMO. You're basically on the strand which is a very crowded and noisy area. The balcony there is almost the same as putting a chair right on the Strand sidewalk. There is zero privacy. I highly recommend anyone booking that to ensure at least a second floor room, but preferably a third floor one.

The breakfast was really underwhelming given the price of the room. Only sweet snacks, no proper hot food, not even an omelette.

Hotel od vybavenia, polohy, personálu totálne prekonal očakávania. Bol to úžasný začiatok našej dovolenky. Navyše nám meškala batožina, slečna recepčná sa postarala o celú komunikáciu s letiskom a bola mega nápomocná.

Fun in the sun at the Beach House Hotel Hermosa
Pros:

Location on the beach was great. I would go for a run and then come back to breakfast and sit on the patio outside and people watch. Loved the fireplace in the room and the kitchenette. Bathroom was large with a nice size tub. Very clean. The surrounding area including Pier Ave. has plenty of places to eat and shop. Athletic community plenty of running, walking, biking, beach volleyball, beach tennis, surfing, yoga, outdoor spin. Manhattan beach is very nice too and the pier has a cute aquarium.

Great hotel at an amazing location.
Pros:

The location is incredible, right on the strand in front of Hermosa beach and all its amenities. The room is fully equipped with a hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge and, most importantly, it actually has cutlery and plates.
Bed is nice and comfortable. The jacuzzi is one of the best I've ever been in.

Cons:

The shower could be more powerful, but this obviously didn't impact the stay. Also, the shutters, as lovely as they are, aren't blackout. So for people that enjoy complete darkness, you won't get that.

Pros:

The room was lovely and very spacious. Having a private balcony was lovely with a partial view of the ocean. There’s a fabulous small Mexican café across the street, which is excellent and should not be missed! The beach is fun but quiet enough that it doesn’t keep you up at night.

Cons:

There’s a parking garage next to the hotel, but they only allow you to valet park which really adds onto your bill.
