The decor
After returning for our 25th wedding anniversary after marrying there in 2001 apart from the lively bar staff the reception staff couldn’t careless couldn’t even give a river room view all very poor

Beautiful room with Balcony for breakfast. Tea, coffee, and all amenities. Including bathrobe and slippers. The facilities were great and Open until 9.00pm. The staff were friendly and could not do more for you. Excellent stay.
Nothing
Zimmer recht groß, wenn auch merkwürdig geschnitten. Lage ist OK, in kurzer Laufnähe zur Imperial Wharf Underground oder Busstop. Personal größtenteils sehr freundlich. Von außen sieht es unscheinbarer aus, aber es ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, und offenbar hinkt die Wartung hinterher.
Gleich zum Anfrang sah ich eine ziemlich dicke Staubschicht in den Glasvitrinen (nicht so toll für Allergiker). Reklamierte es bei der Rezeption unmittelbar. Wurde jedoch während gesamten 5 Tagesaufenthalt nicht gesäubert.
Es war sehr heiß, Klimaanlage lief nonstop aber kühlte nicht richtig. Der Haustechniker erklärte, dass es ein altes System sei.... Naja.
Außerdem habe ich nach der Abreise entdeckt, dass ich meine Ladegerät inkl. UK-Adapter im Zimmer vergessen hatte. Auf meine Nachfrage beim Hotel erhielt ich nie eine Antwort. Schade! Von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel hätte ich mehr Service erwartet.
We got an upgrade to a suite which was nice. Mohar the desk manager and the receptionist from Monaco were both very nice and friendly.
We have eaten there a few times and the restaurant food is really excellent.

It needs some upgrading, decor, carpets, furnishings a little tired.

The location and overall facilities were excellent. It was obvious that improvement work was being completed to the spa facilities and that’s absolutely understandable, assuming this upgrade work all gets completed etc.
We were not initally provided with any towels in our room.
As already stated the spa entrance and changing facilities were not the greatest.

Service quite slow in bar
The location was perfect. We went to see the RPO at the Royal Albert Hall. The Tube was a few minutes walk away. We parked our car in the design centre, very close to the hotel and the fees were far more reasonable for our stay. We were upgraded to the Marina Suite, which was excellent, a lovely balcony with harbour views. We had room service two evenings. The food came in good time and was delicious. All of the staff were professional, efficient and happy. It was a complete joy to stay here for the weekend.
