The location was Chicago. The atmosphere and room were amazing. The service went beyond my expectations thanks to Ahmad, Myron and other staff. I was in town to meet up with my family to celebrate my birthday. I will definitely stay at this hotel again thanks to the care we received from Ahmad and Myron.

Myron was such a welcoming & attentive host! Truly the best kick off to our long weekend stay. He greeted us with a smile, checked on us as we waited for our room & brought us waters. Thanks Myron!

Nice boutique hotel attached to Tavern on Rush. Cozy and comfortable. Clean with an extremely helpful staff. Great location!!

Excellent service by Ahmad and Jackie. We had a brief problem with air conditioning and the maintenance guy was prompt and friendly. Dinner at Tavern on Tush was excellent too. Location is young and vibrant. Highly recommend

The location is great, but the staff was either hit or miss. The room was just average (worn sofa and view of a parking lot from a corner room). Valet is crazy expensive, but not a whole lot of other options. The gentlemen at the valet were lovely and funny. I enjoyed the bathroom and overall size of the room. The Gold Coast has so many options for hotels; I might explore others for next month's trip. Still waiting for my checkout bill - it's been 5 days.

We stay at the Thompson every year. Myron was always so kind and welcoming. He really made this years trip amazing. He’s very thoughtful and provides great recommendations.

Our very nice stay began with Myron at the door, and he took care of us all the way to the room - pleasant and professional. Lily at the desk greeted us warmly and, as one expects at The Thompson, was helpful and equally pleasant and professional. The facility is very comfortable and well located but the staff make any hotel experience.

Great location and access to a variety of restaurants with walking distance of a short drive. Quiet hotel with really friendly and professional staff. Kudos to Ody for helping fix a reservation too! I look forward to staying here again!

What a wonderful experience we had at the Thompson!! From the moment we stepped on the property was greeted by Myron who immediately took our bags from the car and directly into the lobby. Myron even walked us to a coffee e shop that we inquired about. We had the pleasure of being checked in with Ahmad who was extremely accommodating since I had two separate reservations. One booked with points and the other booked with a credit card, he was able to upgrade our room with no hassle or back and forth. We really enjoyed our lake view room. Thank you Thompson for a great experience in the Windy City.

Location/neighborhood is perfect with several convenient and good places to eat and drink. Hotel was classy with good service. There was no vending on each floor. Myron at the bell desk was a great help nightly with getting ice at the front desk. It was a wonderful stay!

Beautiful hotel, extremely friendly and efficient service (thanks, Lily!!) and such a comfortable bed. Highly recommend.
