Important information:

There is parking available at the car park underneath the hotel. To self-park, enter the car park from the left-hand side of the hotel driveway, from Binara Street. For valet parking, enter the hotel driveway from Binara Street and our Concierge team will assist you.

Self-parking is $35 per day.. Please note that parking is subject to availability and cannot be reserved in advance. Please note that the parking height limit is 1.9 metres. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate oversized vehicles. Two Tesla electric car charging ports are available for guest use in the Crowne Plaza Canberra car park.

Please note that there is a 1.9% charge when you pay with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card and a 3% charge when you pay with a Diners Club or JCB credit card.

We stopped over for a night enroute to the snowy mountains. But other than breakfast don’t this deserves any rating.
Pros:

Just the location.

Cons:

It has aged but not well. Carpets are dirty. Bathroom shows the number of years it hasn’t been renovated. And the beds were too small.

Close to town and great buffet breakfast.
Pros:

This is my go to hotel when staying in Canberra. Convenient location, only few minutes walk to the centre of town. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are comfortable and clean but nothing fancy and you either get a city view or park view. I’ve never had any issues with noise. Staff are always pleasant. The buffet breakfast has so many options, something for everyone but it can get super busy. Parking is expensive but you pay for a 24hr period so if you check in at 6pm you don’t have to leave the car park on check out day till 6pm. If you have an EV they have 3 x free chargers but they can fill up quickly in the afternoon/evening.

Bar staff need more experience not much knowledge in beverages

Central to civic and clean. Nice view of the park

Cons:

Breakfast was chaos with a huge line up the stair case, when checking in our breakfast was surposed to be included and at reception they told us not for children. So had to pay for kids separately not happy.
On our last day we left without breakfast as the line was way too long.
