Perfect base for family and friends visiting Queenstown ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pros:

Novotel Hotel is absolutely fantastic—right in front of the lake with beautiful views, and just a short walk alongside the shops, cafés, and restaurants in the heart of Queenstown. Everything was within easy walking distance, which made traveling with children very convenient.

Cons:

We asked for our air conditioning to be fixed as it rattled all night and no one came to fix it. So we ended up not having an air conditioner / heater.

Bathrooms are outdated. The shower curtain was horrible.

Wonderful location for a short stay in Queenstown
Pros:

We have stayed several times our favourite thing would be the location. So close to everything and we love starting our day with a walk around the lake. The beds are comfortable and clean.

Cons:

I don’t like that the bathroom has a step in shower over a bath, with a shower curtain.

Loved the location loved the wee bar but dirty restrooms let it down
Pros:

It was good although they had a gluten free station but no spreads im ceoliac so couldn't use the spreads every one else had

Cons:

The restrooms at 10am in foyer at breakfast time were disgusting. They obviously weren't cleaned from night before put ne right off eating breakfast there such a shame as rest of hotel was lovely.

Close to town extremely friendly and helpful staff

Cons:

Paid extra for Alpine view which wasn’t worth it as we overlooked the street and the law office. The mountains were way off

Very average if not below par.
Pros:

It was very close to town centre

Cons:

The fact we were in a wheelchair bathroom, room with no bench/ vanity in the bathroom to put stuff and water went everywhere when showering

Cons:

Very dated - my room smelt musky & had old school popcorn ceiling. The bath had dirt marks on it and no firm pillow - seriously in need of a refresh!
