Fabulous location and great bar downstairs
The breakfast was great with plenty of variety. The staff were great and answered every question I asked.
The parking should be factored into the price for people with there own car. It was no fault of the Manly Pacific but I received a parking ticket while I was getting the keys to the room and organising parking.
What a fabulous location!! Amazing lobby decor and restaurants as well.
The rooms have been updated but the infrastructure is quite old - creaky sliding door to the balcony with no fly screen so not able to keep the door open in summer because of insects. No extractor fan in the bathroom and one of those ‘barn door’ doors with no soundproofing and therefore no bathroom privacy. We had a connecting room and light from the next door strangers room was shining under the door (we could also hear their conversation which was a bit awkward).
The facility is amazing and the location is stunning
Nothing. We stay away often and from pre-arrival to check-out the service was simply phenomenal.
The location, comfortable beds, friendliness and willingness to accompdate by the staff, fairly fast room service.
Room wasn't as clean as expected. Lots of dust in corners, a hair on floor in bathroom, I wiped near the coffee machine and the cloth came away with yelloe residue. Just small things that make you question how well all things are cleaned.
Room service menu and availability - a more diverse menu, doesn't need to be fancy, but some more simple options. Maybe even option for room servi e from the Italian restaurant too?
Also, a 24 hour option, or even a bit later would be amazing. My flights always arrive in NSW late and room service is closed by check-in.
All staff were really amazing however there were a few communication errors. I requested a cot five times but it never arrived. Also a few smaller communication things between departments.
Overall, just some small things that you would expect from accomodation at the level of Manly Pacific and its prices. These can be easily fixed too!!
The position was great, straight across the road from the beach
Apparently we got an upgrade, however that meant a balcony with no chairs, no desk, no chairs in the room. The shower drain was blocked you could actually the mould build up in the drain. This meant no shower for me.
While they gave us a bottle of wine to say sorry for the lack of chairs and the wait to receive this doesn’t fix the issue
Sleeping was also an issue as I’m not sure what construction or what is going on but the noise started at 6am woke us both up. Certainly ended a very average experience
The bed covers were too hot over night

This hotel does not reflect a 5 star premises as advertised. The photos depicted online are not even close to how our room presented. The hotel is extremely outdated and dirty. There were carpet stains all throughout the hotel corridors and within our room, and the general cleanliness of the bathroom was deplorable. Totally unacceptable to be advertised as five stars, this hotel is closer to a 3 star. We feel totally duped.
The staff were and continue to be a great support to me. They have gone beyond caring in thheir support to me especially the management of all areas. I cannot recommend this hotel higher enough. 🩷🩷

The location on Manly Beach is perfect.

Det lå godt ud til strand promenaden.
Vi kom sent første dag. Vi fik nr. 143, det længst væk beliggende værelse uden vindue til det fri. Meget mørkt og småt. Badeværelset gammelt og slidt med dryppende vandhane i håndvasken. Klagede næste morgen. Langt og længe skulle vi flyttes. Alt pakkes sammen og lod det blive til overflytning om eftermiddagen.
Vi fik så nr. 232, et lidt større værelse men stadig ikke plads til kufferter, som måtte ligge på gulvet i gang passage. For få bøjler. Værelset lå ved siden af hotellets restaurants udsugning, som kørte konstant. Larm og meget dårligt lugtende af friture og udsugning af fedt især. Vi kunne ikke bruge altan, som også var fedtet og beskidt. Men værre var, at lugten trængte ind på værelset, vi kunne lugte friture udsugningen. Det sidder i tøjet og håret. Alt tøj og overtøj skal vaskes og renses, når vi er hjemme d. 21.05.
Jeg gik hver morgen i receptionen og bad dem om at gå
På værelset og lugte samt hjælpe os. De trak på skuldrene og gjorde intet. Ved udcheckning sagde jeg venligt, at det ikke havde været i orden, og sagde også at det var udtryk for arrogance. Vi havde valgt et femstjernet hotel og havde forventet service og venlighed. Ingen tilbud om 2. flytning og refusion.
Hotellet har tæpper på værelser og gange, som er slidte og plettede. Jeg har astma. Det var ikke godt!
Poolen på tagterrassen blev ikke rengjort.
Det var udsugning på taget, som larmede og lugtede meget, når du ville ligge og slappe af.
Saunaen måtte ikke bruges, kun ved bestilling til gus.
Hotellets 5 stjerner er på ingen måde berettiget.
