Charming Fells Point
Pros:

Location is premier. The hotel plus neighborhood is one of the most charming places we’ve ever stayed. Our room and the public areas are well appointed. One of the nicest surprises was our bathroom and how well modernized and maintained it was for a historic property. The restaurant offers great menu options and the servers took excellent care of us. Meeting the general manager was so appreciated. Thank you to Anahlea Shimunik and the entire hotel staff for the hospitality. I can’t express enough good things about our stay. That’s how enjoyable it was.

If you’re in fells point, skip this hotel. Head to Four Seasons or Pendry.
Pros:

Probably one of the weirdest hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Did my virtual check in on the app after 4PM, never reviewed a digital room. Ended up driving up to the hotel to get a room key and I was checked in to a dirty room. Waited for valet for 15 min, no one ever came out. Then when I called the front desk and tried to confirm my room chargers, the lady was hostile and combative. Spoke over and never let me get a word in. Space was okay. Staff was friendly (minus front desk employee) it was just off and as a former employee for the brand, I’m just really surprised. Tried to speak to several people about, didn’t really seem like anyone cared.

Fantastic location---Charming Historic Hotel--Very Steep Parking Fee
Pros:

I don't think that you could possibly ask for a better location than the William Fell. It is located dead in the center of Fell's Point and and is just across the street from the harbor. Everything you could possibly ask for is within blocks of the hotel. In regards to the property itself, it has a pleasing interior design (recently renovated), small but nice lobby and a downstairs speakeasy that is perfectly fine (though if you want great dining or a more active bar scene, there are better options within a few blocks). The room was surpisingly large for an old downtown hotel. The room was also suprisingly quiet considering the fact that it is right in the middle of the bar district. The front desk staff was friendly though I wouldn't say overly enthusiastic. The price for the room was reasonable.

If there were any drawbacks, I would say that getting into the building with luggage can be a challenge for those with mobility issues. I was with my disabled sister, and the steps were very steep. No one offered to help with our bags or open the door (if memory serves--maybe the valet did and I didn't notice as I was in a hurry..but I don't think so). There may be an entrace with a ramp, but I didn't see it (correct me if I'm wrong).

The other drawback was the outrageous valet parking fee. Now, perhaps this cannot be avoided as parking in Fell's Point is, i'm sure, limited. It was, however, somewhere around $70.00 plus a $13.00 parking tax. I would expect this in NYC but was surprised it cost this much in Baltimore. Next time, I will probably try to find parking farther out and just Uber to the hotel.

Otherwise, it was an overall pleasurable stay and I would certainly consider going back.

Boutique hotel in the historic disctrict with a phenomenal speakeasy bar
Pros:

The hotel is located in the historic Fell’s Point neighborhood, within walking distance of a wide variety of bars and restaurants. The room was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. There is also an inexpensive parking garage just a few blocks away.

One of the biggest highlights of the hotel is the speakeasy bar in the basement and its bartender, Steve, who is truly a Baltimore ambassador. Every cocktail he made was genuinely a piece of art. I can honestly say I had the best cocktail of my life there.

Cheers to Steve!

Cons:

Due to the abundance of bars in the district, it may feel too noisy at night. The rooms don't have great soundproofing.

Phenomenal location, great staff who go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay!
Pros:

The staff is phenomenal, In particular Nick at the front desk. He was always so kind, helpful and ready with a smile! Thank you Nick for everything, you truly made our stay special!!!
The snacks, and drinks that are put out throughout the day are a wonderful touch!

Cons:

The configuration of the room made it difficult to move around. And we would frequently bump into furniture, resulting in cuts and bruises.

We had no hot water for the 3 days we were there. Our room was not refreshed any day: no toilet paper, no coffee, and no
Pros:

The look from the outside

Cons:

It is loud at night and the windows aren’t noise-canceling.
We did not like how expensive this place is for the overall experience and quality if the room and staff.
The carpet in the rooms look dirty
There’s no light where the desk is, which means we couldn’t work from there.
I would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone
