Only okay, too many disappointments.

The location

Cons:

Our room was across two doors that were used by the staff. It was so noisy and that part of the hotel looked like it was under construction. Check in wasn’t great. Our room wasn’t ready, although it was after four and the lady wasn’t apologetic at all.
Valet parking was a nightmare. When we wanted our car in the morning there was only one girl at the valet. She took a long time to bring our vehicle and a lot of people were waiting for their vehicles. The delay cause us to loose 30 minutes on our journey that day. You can only do valet parking, so their system needs improvement.

We would highly recommend River Street Inn to anyone visiting Savannah!
Pros:

Great historic building, close to everything, and fantastic staff! We were extremely impressed! And the view of the river was awesome! Also loved the daily manager’s reception with open bar and appetizers.

Cons:

No negatives.

Great hotel on the river!
Pros:

Excellent location, river view rooms just steps to river street. Room was large, unique, clean. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was excellent.

Cons:

Our room was above the outdoor bar, so there was music playing most of the day and evening, sometimes quite loudly. Also, no vent fan in the bathroom.

Best Place to Stay When in Savannah
Pros:

The inn was in the perfect location. Walking distance to everything and with a view unmatched. The staff was top notch. The food at the restaurants was excellent. So glad we picked this place!

We love this place , mostly because of the employees!
Pros:

John Michael, Chris, and Micah gave us the absolute best valet service. They were so helpful and knew what we needed before we did. They were friendly and didn't judge our crazy car packing job.
The front desk staff was also terrific! Personable and helpful; gave good hints for visiting Savanah.
Our room was so much more than expected! Really clean and decorated to fit the hotel's origins. We will never stay anywhere else.
Splurge for the balcony; you'll.be happy
It's not big, but its fun to look over the riverfront and street.
