Pros:

Good sized room and clean.

Cons:

Horribly hot and uncomfortable in the hot weather. Very loud location. Bad night sleep.

Excellent stay, we would stay again.
Pros:

We had a great stay, staff were very friendly a special mention for Nahim who couldnt have been more helpful, room was great, food was excellent and Location is really good especially for travel into central london.

Cons:

Just a small niggle , pillows were slightly uncomfortable.

Great Pub - Lovely Rooms
Pros:

The Red Lion is a lovely pub, and the room we stayed in was very comfortable. Black out blind windows above the bed, spacious & very quiet even though we were sleeping in a pub!

Pros:

It's a very smart place with a good selection of things in the room. Coffee machine, ironing and loverly shower and towels. Cushions on the bed particularly luxurious.

An excellent pub/hotel to stay in in the heart of the East End.
Pros:

Overall I have rated our stay as excellent based on central location near tube station, staff friendliness and service, cleanliness, quality of room - large with clean bathroom - and facilities in the form of an excellent pub and restaurant.

Cons:

The stairs were a little tiring in the very hot weather. The hotel had no air-conditioning but despite that, the fan provided in the room did a very good job in the very hot weather.

Pros:

The room was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and clean. The fan was brilliant in the heat and the copious amount of water in the fridge was greatly appreciated. Given the location I expected it to be noisier on a Friday and Saturday night but it was really not so bad and we got a good night's sleep on both nights. Lovely cafes located really near by for breakfast and the tube only a short walk away. The food in the pub was delicious.

Great location and rooms
Pros:

Great location and not too far away for where we needed to get to. The rooms were perfect for our stay and the manager and staff were very helpful when we arrived earlier than our check in time. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful, apart from the heat I thoroughly enjoyed my stays.
Cons:

Unfortunately I visited twice in a heatwave. The second time there was a fan which made the heat bearable. Leaving windows open is not an option as there is traffic through the night.

Pros:

This was such a pleasant surprise, really spacious room, beautifully decorated, proper coffee, enormous bath, very quiet considering it was above a pub during an England World Cup game.

Cons:

Really minor, but separate soap for the bath would be good.
