Hyatt Place Fort Worth/Hurst

Horrible front desk customer service. Neither at check in or check out could either of the ladies at the front desk figure out how to charge the form of payment I provided and instead charged the credit card I originally booked under. I've stayed at countless Hyatt properties and this is never a problem, except for this property. The whole building was humid, the carpets were damp in the hallways and the room, the AC in room was loud and never turned off because it could not get down to the set temperature. The food at the breakfast bar was inedible. Food that should have been hot was cold, bread was moldy, and the coffee tasted burnt and no amount of cream or sugar could take away the awful taste. Only one of the two elevators worked and the working elevator squeaked and made clanking noises. I would never willingly choose this Hyatt property ever again. A truly awful stay not worth my money or time.

Front desk have attitude issues and play keycard games. I had to make 3 trips back and forth to front desk every day to access the room. Sofas and carpet are stained. Received blatant racist treatment by one of the front desk people and this place doesn't honor or care if you are a member of Hyatt. I was charged more than non members.

Cleanliness was NOT what I expected from a Hyatt hotel, room appearance and overall hotel appearance left a lot to be desired. There were holes in bed sheets, grayish looking towels, ripped curtains, flickering lights. Only 2 luggage trolleys, not a fully stocked bar, no microwave in the room. Most importantly the pictures online are not updated, they do not show the actual condition of the hotel and rooms.

This hotel provided a great experience for me. The staff is amazing here. They were both friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond in every area to assist with all my needs. The hotel was very clean, updated with a modern touch, providing plenty of parking at no cost. There was a pool and a place to workout. The location was great with a variety of restaurants and convenient stores within walking distance. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

This property was old and dated. Need improvements on furnitures (mattress was overused), sofa, and carpet. Breakfast was average and towels were old.

I was really disappointed with this stay. It did not feel like a Hyatt property at all.

The front desk staff were not welcoming, and when we reported problems, it felt like nobody really wanted to take ownership. We had a room with a leak, and after changing rooms, the new room still had visible signs of old water damage on the ceiling. The sofa bed also had used gum left inside from a previous guest, which was disgusting.

Cleanliness was a big issue throughout the stay. Some towels looked dirty, the bathroom had a bad smell, and the pool water looked very dirty, almost like it was not being filtered properly.

When we asked for clean sheets and towels, they were not brought to the room. We were told to go to the front desk and pick them up ourselves.

Overall, between the cleanliness problems, maintenance issues, and poor service, this was one of the worst Hyatt stays I’ve had. I would not recommend this hotel.
