Pros:

Hotel was in a secluded but beautiful location.

Cons:

The bed mattress could use replacing. It was very ‘pokey’.

Ok
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice.

Cons:

The rooms were very dated. We asked for a extra bed in the room before our arrival, but there wasn't one. The hot water in the sink tap was scalding hot, but not hot water in the shower. The fire alarm went off at 11.30pm, because someone had a shower and did not close the bathroom door - the steam from the shower set the alarm off.

Pleasant and uneventful.
Pros:

Comfortable bed, large room, generally quiet situation.

Cons:

The room was “tired” especially the bathroom which had missing fittings including shower head, and a cracked basin.

Quiet stop before theme park
Pros:

Lovely location, 10 mins drive from Drayton manor theme park.

Cons:

TV in room didn't work. Difficult to locate any staff when arrived at breakfast. Put request on booking for a double and single bed in family room. Got a triple with 3 single beds. Asked about a takeaway out sandwich for theme park next day, but no one got back to me and no one on reception desk just a key drop.

Lovely area lovely staff. Just needs a little spending on it.
Pros:

The views were outstanding. The staff were extremely friendly, especially a young man called Nathan. Breakfast was lovely, a wide variety for the kids as well.

Cons:

The decor is a little dated needs a little TLC. And the cold tap in my room didn’t work.

Pros:

Location

Cons:

The rooms were old and worn. Curtains hanging off poles. Holes in wall. Was told not to use heater in room or it would trip the electric.
No hot water

Beautiful countryside hotel with enough amenities
Pros:

Lovely countryside hotel with great service, comfortable room and great environment. We travelled for work in Sutton Coldfield which was a quick 15-20min drive.

Cons:

Better if there were a telephone in the room to make calling reception easier.

Wouldn’t stay here again
Pros:

The location was good and the young lady on reception was lovely

Cons:

The room was so cold it felt damp and the in room heater didn’t work so they gave me a small plug in heater which was tiny. The bathroom was freezing with no heater. No TV remote and they couldn’t find one to replace it so no TV. The double bed was 2 pushed together but one was higher than the other so there was a shelf in the bed. Not a single plug by the bed. Next door had a shower and every time they flushed the loo both sounded like a kangol was being used to knock the wall down.

They are being refurbished so I guess I was in a room that hadn’t been part of that yet.

Excellent value for money.
Pros:

The price was amazing especially as it included breakfast, with a hot option if wanted.

Cons:

We had to swap rooms as the toilet cistern in the first one we were given was not working properly, but the new room was great.
