The location is perfect for all the shops also right next door to a decent car park. The rooms are lovely as is the whole decor of the hotel. It is also very doggy friendly
Nothing it was all good
This was a very nice hotel in the centre of Manchester. The room was well appointed and clean.
The only thing I object to is the hotel app. While this may suit some customers, I resent giving my phone data to a hotel. On the plus side I didn’t use it and it didn’t detract from my stay.
The room was excellent we stayed in the studio suite. It was perfect and the bed was so comfy. The water station on the floor was a brilliant idea we appreciated it when we were thirsty at night time. Breakfast was perfect too.
There was air trapped in the hot water tap pipe so it made a loud noise every time it was used. Didn't bother us though.
Friendly and helpful staff. We were treated to a surprise upgrade of a free higher value room which was wonderful with an impressive view. The air con is great - cool and very quiet. Spacious shower and very clean room. Love the availability of water for the room. There are many small touches that really makes this place. It's our second time staying here and we will definitely be back! The staff here are so happy and we're celebrating the opening of their new restaurants and having a proper celebration, I can tell it's a great place to work which adds to the positive atmosphere. Easy location for the station and surrounding busy spots. Thank you!
No bin bag in the bins left us a little confused as we didn't want to put e.g. teabags straight in the bin for the cleaners to have to wipe but not sure if this was a sustainability choice. Would have been great if alternative milk sachets were available for the room other than standard dairy especially as an eco focussed place.

Very disappointing check-in experience
I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and have always had a positive experience, so I was extremely disappointed by what happened this time. I have never experienced anything like this during my previous stays.
I had made and paid for the hotel booking, but I did not have the physical bank card with me at check-in. Despite being able to provide confirmation of the booking and the necessary details, the hotel would not allow my partner to check into our room.
What made the situation particularly unacceptable was that this happened at 3am on Sunday morning. After travelling and arriving at the hotel in the middle of the night, my partner was left sitting in the lobby for four hours because he was not allowed to access our room untill I got off the plane and arrived to the hotel at 3am.
I completely understand that hotels have policies regarding payment cards, but given that I had made the booking and this was the middle of the night, I expected the situation to be handled with far more understanding and flexibility. Leaving a guest waiting in the lobby for four hours at 3am was extremely frustrating and completely ruined the start of our stay.
Having stayed here multiple times before, this was especially disappointing. I hope the hotel reviews how this situation was handled, as it was very different from the standard of service I have experienced on previous visits.
Spotless, the vibe is excellent, the decor is so well presented throughout the whole building. Staff are very genuine and sincere. Was extremely quiet given the location!
It was an excellent stay. Slightly pricier for just one night, and the bed was firmer than I’d have liked but by no means uncomfortable at all.
