Important information:

Please be aware that children under the age of 16 are only able to use the swimming pool at limited times. The times they can use the facilities are from spa opening until 10:00, and then 16:00 – 20:00. Pre-booking for spa access is recommend as you will be allowed a 1 hour access per night of your stay.

Pets are allowed on request, please add this to your booking before arrival.
We have a limited number of dog-friendly rooms available.

Please note that dogs cannot go into our Brasserie restaurant but are welcome in the Oak Lounge Bar.

Poor sleep after being kept awake my the party. No peace or wellbeing. Very very poor. AVOID

Good value for money, beautiful area, friendly & helpful staff
Pros:

The staff were super friendly, they were incredibly helpful with reccomendations of things to do in the local area and were polite and professional at all times. The location is fantastic and bar the works going on and a bit of noise it was very restful and picturesque. The spa is wonderful as well and during quiet times was a pleasure to be in. The food at the resteraunt was fantastic and we really enjoyed our meals. Breakfast when we went early was simple but exatly what was needed.

Cons:

Our only critique was that after a lot of people had been in the spa the chlorine levels got a bit much. Early on in the day it was wonderful, very warm due to the window being broken and unable to open but didnt sting or hurt any chests. After lunchtime and in the evening, after more people had been in, unfortunately we found that being in there for more than a minute stang our eyes and hurt our chests, and as the window was unable to open to alleviate the chlorine in the air we couldnt stay in the hot tub/pool area.
If the window was able to open to make the spa area more tolerable this would have been 10/10 review

Excellent. We will return.
Pros:

Great location. Beautiful hotel surrounded by countryside but close to amenities. Large secure car park. Lovely gardens and patio areas with plenty of tables and chairs. Excellent restaurant, food was delicious. Comfy stylish bar with good selection of beers and wines. Quiet, clean and nicely decorated large bedroom. Good complimentary products. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

The website photos don't do the hotel justice.

The Spa is really nice 100%
Pros:

Beds very comfortable
Staff very accommodating
Location & garden beautiful

Cons:

Unfortunately there was no bacon beans eggs or bread ready at 9.15 am we had to tell waitresses and had to wait for 15 minutes for hot counter to be replenished

Plenty of parking. Clean spacious room. The food was definitely the highlight for me! I had the seabass and I’ve never tasted anything as good before! Staff in the restaurant were brilliant.

Cons:

Despite being nominated for Wales Spa of the Year, I didn't think it was anything exceptional. There are other spas in Wales that I feel are definitely more deserving. The bed was too soft for my liking. Additionally, the gentleman on the reception desk didn't give the friendliest welcome; he sped through the information, and when I asked him to clarify a point, he suddenly raised his voice.

Pros:

Good location made it easy to visit plenty of places via express way. Hotel rooms comfortable but the rest of the hotel looks a little tired. Staff lovely though nothing to much trouble. Very pleasant stay.

Cons:

Hotel is good but the signing, off the roundabout could be made clearer more prominent. Easy to miss it.

Only stayed for one night but thought the room was a great size for 3 of us, and was lovely and clean and wonderful rece

Very clean and well maintained inside. All members of staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Could do with more signs to rooms, outside of the building needs a little updating. Air conditioning?

A wedding party was there on 1st night and when we got up the following morning the outside had not been brushed or cleaned - cigarette ends etc. on the floors and beer bottle toos on tables.

Lovely hotel. Spa is excellent
Pros:

Lovely staff, great hotel. Impressive bar and restaurant area. Use of indoor spa was an excellent bonus. Probably the nicest hotel spa we have experienced.
Would definitely recommend and love to stay again.

Cons:

For a 4 star hotel we would have expected more top up of teas, coffees and toiletries. We would also have expected 3 glasses and 3 mugs as there were 3 guests.

Pros:

The hotel grounds were lovely, and the hotel was excellent. Friendly helpful staff. The food was exceptional.. The spa was also excellent, and the treatment we had was amazing. Our room was very clean and comfortable with everything you need.

room service - QR did not work and they were going to charge me £10 to take the food up around 10 steps to my room
