Important information:

Please be aware that children under the age of 16 are only able to use the swimming pool at limited times. The times they can use the facilities are from spa opening until 10:00, and then 16:00 – 20:00. Pre-booking for spa access is recommend as you will be allowed a 1 hour access per night of your stay.

Pets are allowed on request, please add this to your booking before arrival.
We have a limited number of dog-friendly rooms available.

Please note that dogs cannot go into our Brasserie restaurant but are welcome in the Oak Lounge Bar.
Charges may be applicable.

Pros:

Lovely hotel and grounds, comfortable beds and clean, however the carpet was coming up in our room and needs replacing.

Cons:

Staff on reception were fri8on check in, however the morning staff were not, at 7.28 a.m we were told that we couldn't be served a coffee as the bar wasn't open. I would have thought that could be served at any time. Breakfast staff lacked a smile and a friendly demeanor.

Will definitely visit again
Pros:

Lovely place, friendly staff, good food and excellent facilities.. thoroughly enjoyed!

Cons:

Just out the way a bit and did have construction work ongoing, but minor and good sign of more to come

Badezimmer ziemlich reparaturbedürftig, Schimmel und wackelige Kacheln, verkalkte Armaturen.
Frühstücksangebot zum Weinen.
Kaffeeautomat defekt ohne Aussicht auf Instandsetzung.
Fehlalarm in der Nacht ohne Aufklärung oder Entwarnung durch das Personal.

Insgesamt enttäuschend.

Expensive and overrated!
Pros:

Room was nice, spa facilities were basic but nice. Just awful times to work around with kids.

Cons:

Food wasn’t very good, over priced and not very eatable! Breakfast was cold. Evening meals were even worse. Everything we ordered during our stay sometime was wrong.

A 3 star hotel pretending to be something more, not a good value for money

Dinner was amazing

Nice garden

Cons:

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel- felt like a house converted into a hotel, ceiling was screeching as people above us were moving, you could hear everything- people coughing or flushing their toilet!
Rooms were pretty basic , definitely not worth the £250 a night !
We were asked to say exactly what time we would be having breakfast because of the capacity of the restaurant!
