1. Poor initial service at dinner Fri night...group were just left unattended for circa 15 minutes, not even drink orders taken....staff had to be chased.......also when main meal came, 8 meals arrived, then about 5 minute wait for the 9th person's meal....
2. Fri night - thai green curry was tasteless .....all other dishes issued to group of about 9 went down well
3. swipe card problem at 1am Sun morning (did not work....heard other guests had similar problems with their swipe cards)...had to wake up night porter
4. being woken by guest shouting outside at 3am to be 'let in'....
The views where incredible, lots of outdoor space, spa facilities where very clean and accommodating. All the hotel was clean all through. Car park was free which is a rarity.
Breakfast room was far too hot. No windows or doors open and the sun was shining outside. Had to wait a while for fresh sausage and bacon to be cooked but the sausage were worth the wait.
Cheese board could have been slightly bigger.
Staff attentive and efficient. Decent breakfast
Bit overpriced for standard double room
Clean and comfortable beds. A nice quiet and clean room and en suite. Pleasant and helpful staff. A very nice hotel.
Hard to get taxis from the hotel. So pre book before you go if needed.
The setting is beautiful. Lots of lovely staff. The room was quite large and the bed was huge and very comfy. We stayed in a junior suite and it had all the extras you would need. Bathroom quite large with shower and separate bath. Breakfast was delicious. The bar was chilled and bar staff friendly. Our dog was welcomed too.
Breakfast isn't all buffet. The cooked breakfast is made to order from a set menu. Some places need a little attention to detail in terms of decorating, tiles in bathroom and edging of paintwork.
The Hotel was superb
My family and me had a great time.
The food was great.
Only i feel they should increase the time slots for family swimming.
Not a complaint just a suggestion.
N.a.
Beautiful garden, brilliant spa, lovely restaurant and drinks. Comfy bed and very clean. Staff all friendly and good at what they do.
Nothing
The Jacuzzi was the most massive I've ever encountered in 30-odd years of countless hotel stays. Temperature and water were good. Pool excellent. Sauna and steam room best I've ever visited.
Parking was easy and spacious. Staff were polite and helpful.
The rooms were well presented. There were modern sockets with USB charging ports.
5G signal was very good in this area (around 80Mbps download speed), so I did not need to use Hotel Wi-fi.
Several lockers in the changing room were out of commission or would not close properly. I checked about 10 of them. It took 15 minutes to find one that worked. This has nothing to do with the manual entry of the code. It was about the latch not engaging the groove in which it is meant to slide into. This is not a sudden problem on the day because so many were not working. Do not rely on guest feedback to monitor this. The lockers should be audited every 2 weeks or so.
The rain shower in the room did not work. But another shower head did on the same fitting.
All superb 👍🙂
The staff were great and the location is perfect for me.
Everything fine
