Lennox Miami Beach

Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit in Miami und waren von der Lage des Hotels begeistert. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und auch das Ambiente war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war auch ausreichend groß, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben.

The Lennox has a good location in South Beach, a decent coffee shop and really nice bell service staff. Other than that, I considered it to be a terrible hotel. I do not understand how it is part of Small Luxury Hotels.
Their service is all around deficient, including the front desk team which do the bare minimum and are sometimes rude and unwelcoming.
The rooms are dark and there is not a clear path to keep dry when going to the lobby if it's raining, which in Miami is common. They do not offer umbrellas, flip flops or even towels to dry off once you manage to make the crossing. There is zero interest in guest experience once you’re there.
My biggest complaint was their housekeeping: they barely make the bed and the hotel in general does not feel clean. They remove used towels but do not replace them consistently, so some nights you get them and some nights you don't. They move with haste and you can tell because you will find things you left on the furniture on the floor, and the removable bit of the trashcan will be poorly placed on top of the trashcan instead of fully inside. I left a charger plugged into the wall and found it on the floor. They don't arrange the pillows properly on the bed, tuck the sheets fully or clean out used dishes and cups. There were pink crumbs on the carpet on the day I arrived from the previous stay and they stayed there the whole time, which shows they don’t even vacuum properly.
I was there for work for a whole week so I didn’t get to use the pool, but it wasn’t very appealing. It’s on the center area of the hotel and it connects buildings, so the chairs are arranged right where people are walking back and forth, there is no privacy. The chair cushions were all stained and used towels would stay there for hours. Nothing about the area felt clean.
It was all around a disappointing stay. I will not be coming back.

The location is excellent! There’s a great private beach nearby, the rooms are amazing, the bed is very comfortable, and the cosmetics are high quality. About housekeeping….although there was one major issue: the maid would come at 7 a.m., knock, and even enter the room while we were still asleep, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being on the door.
The gym is small but nice.
Now to the downsides, which unfortunately outweighed all the positives during our two-week stay.
The reception staff clearly do not understand how to do their job. Every day there were some kind of issues, problems, or strange rules. Toward the end, it got to the point where we weren’t even allowed to bring our own pizza to the pool area just to eat it quickly, especially since I didn’t like the hotel’s food menu at all.
I also sent a hoodie to the laundry service- it was listed as $18, but in the end they charged $70 (!!), even though the hoodie costs $60. No one warned me about the price. After I complained, they removed $20 for an “express service” that I never even requested.
Not all the staff were like this, some people at reception were perfectly fine, while others seemed completely incompetent.
And of course, housekeeping at 7 a.m. in Miami…I’ve never seen anything like that. Sometimes they didn’t come at all, and we had to call just to get towels replaced. So it was either 7 a.m. or never :) By the end of the second week, they finally seemed to understand that cleaning should be done later :)
I wouldn’t want to come back to this hotel, despite its great location and overall nice facilities. It’s a real shame, because I actually liked the hotel very much.

Love how intimate and cozy, and luxurious it is. All of the staff was friendly and recognized us by face. Stayed in a room right by the pool. View was amazing. Food was amazing. Bartender/waiter Cristiano was so friendly and gave us great service for our dinner on our arrival night. Made us feel so welcome. Also, being greeted by the front desk with sparkling champagne to drink as we walked to our room made us feel extra special. Plan to go back again next year. No need to look any further.

We loved this hotel. Pool is heated - so its like a spa pool. Staff are great, rooms are nicely decorated (could do with some drawers). Location is perfect. Sun beds on beach are great - as is the food down there. Thanks, great stay. P,S. there is a water fountain near large sunbeds.

Booked this hotel as we liked the boutique vibe it presented. When we arrived we were welcomed by friendly hotel staff and our bags were stored until check in time. In this time we went and used the facilities at the beach.
When we did check in got to our room which was nicely presented and comfortable. 2 complimentary waters and 2 coffees per stay, everything else was chargeable. Also they put tea bags in your room but no facility to boil water but I did ask for a kettle and they brought one to the room.
Unfortunately during our stay the lift was broken which wasn’t ideal with our luggage. Also the gym which is small anyway only had two treadmills, one which was out of order and the other was slipping so couldn’t use anyway.
The pool area aesthetically is lovely, just to note, it is a spa pool which we hadn’t realised, so when we headed back from the beach for a refreshing dip it was more like getting into a hot bath tub. Also to note sun loungers around the pool are limited and a lot of them don’t get the sun all day.
We had booked the hotel through booking.com and as part of our booking we had a 10 dollar allowance per day to use at the bar. This was questioned by staff twice and they wanted photos of our booking? It took 3 attempts to get the pool drinks taken off our bill before we finally settled up due to this. Although they didn’t explain what the issue was.
The hotel cost us £307 per night room only. We loved our holiday and did like some parts of the hotel but I’m not sure for that price I’d stay again.
