The perfect location to enjoy fully the sights and sounds of Stone Town
Pros:

Loved the history, the furnishings and the location. It was a true authentic experience in Stone Town. The pool courtyard area was cool and peaceful. The rooftop restaurant had a great view and the dinner experience was great. Superb massage from Mary who got everything just right.

Cons:

The aircon in the room struggled to cool down and keep it cool. We had to leave it on 24/7.
The breakfast service was very slow and almost 2hrs on our last morning, so we didn’t have time for a final walk around.

Hidden gem in the middle of Stone Town
Pros:

The building itself is an immersive historical experience and the staff truly went above and beyond during my entire stay. My room felt like a royal apartment and the rooftop dinner experience was a highlight of my trip. Very highly recommended!

Ne pas manquer juste en face les massages d’Elisabeth !

Stonetown was a nice place for my visit. I crammed a lot in the a day and a half.
Pros:

Being on my own the staff were so helpful. They recommended place to eat and helped with a taxi. They left a breakfast box for me on a very early departure. They helped with a curio purchase next door.

Sympathisches, historisches Hotel mitten in der Altstadt, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, toller Ausblick
Pros:

Kleines Stadthotel mit viel Geschichte, liebevoll restauriert und mit sehr freundlichem Personal, dass stets hilfreich ist. Der Ausblick vom Rooftop ist genial!

Cons:

Es gibt keinen Luft, somit muss man teilweise recht steile Treppen nehmen, das hält zwar fit, kann aber ab und zu etwas mühsam werden.

Pros:

Liebevoll restauriertes kleines Stadthotel mit viel Geschichte mitten im Zentrum von Stone Town. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und immer da, wenn man etwas fragen möchte oder benötigt. Dir Aussicht auf dem Rooftop ist einzigartig für Stone Town.

Cons:

Es gibt keinen Lift, somit muss man alles über teilweise sehr steile Treppen erreichen - da hält zwar fit, kann aber mitunter etwas mühsam sein.

Pros:

Nous sommes restés pour une nuit. Le bâtiment est splendide et la chambre est magnifique. Nous avons également dîner sur le rooftop où la nourriture était très bonne et le groupe de musique avec la chanteuse rajoutait une très belle ambiance. Le personnel était aussi très agréable et à l'écoute. Ils nous ont également aidé à organiser plusieurs excursions. Nous recommandons vivement.

Authentic Zanzibar atmosphere in the heart of Stone Town
Pros:

The atmosphere is truly authentic and unique - it feels like staying in a beautiful historic Zanzibar house rather than in a conventional hotel. The service was excellent, warm and very attentive.

We stayed in the Crystal Room, which was full of character. We especially loved the four-poster bed with its canopy, and the bathroom was absolutely unique and beautifully designed.

Breakfast was generous and served on the rooftop, with a wonderful view over the rooftops of Stone Town. The location is also excellent for exploring Stone Town on foot.

Cons:

The breakfast was very good, but the selection was almost the same every day.

Our Crystal Room was on the third floor, and the stairs could feel a little exhausting, especially after a full day walking around Stone Town. As this is a historic house, there is no lift.

Der Aufenthalt war besser als erwartet.
Pros:

Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse des Zimmers mit Bedienung und tollem Blick. Sehr freundliches Personal. Hotel mit typischer Dekoration. Dachrestaurant mit Blick auf den Hafen und Stadt.

Schöner Kurzaufenthalt
Pros:

Die Unterkunft war sehr schön. Viele kleine schöne Ecken, die es zu bestaunen gab.

Cons:

Leider wurde bei der Bezahlung Euro zu Dollar mit 1:1 umgerechnet. Dadurch haben wir ca. 30 € drauf gezahlt.

EXCELENTE OPCIÓN PARA ESTAR EN EL CORAZÓN DE STONE TOWN.
Pros:

Tiene una arquitectura hermosa, acorde al lugar en donde está.

Cons:

Sufrimos bastante con los mosquitos en la
habitación a pesar de colocarnos repelente nosotros mismos y en los mosquiteros.
De noche nos picaron mucho.
