An experience on how one should not be treated
Pros:

The location close to beach

Cons:

1. Didn’t like the fact I couldn’t sleep during the night. Nowhere did it say when booking that the noise during the night would keep you awake all night.
2. The noise from the pipework, you could hear when any other toilet was flushed or taps turned on in the rooms nearby.
3. The foul smell coming up through the pipes, orifices in the bathroom. Foul effluent, obvious a blockage in their sewerage pipes.
4. Cleanliness of the room was poor.
5. Staff unhelpful and unprofessional when complaint was made regarding points above. On the 3rd day complained but received no apology or any attempt to give us alternative room for the remaining 2 nights. We then asked for a refund for the last 2 night and they refused.
Worst experience I’ve ever had on holidays.

The hotel and facilities were thoughtfully designed and maintained.
It’s close to the beach, main town and our favorite bars.

Cons:

I wish the nearby bars would cut out loud music at midnight, and it isnt the hotel’s fault at all. They provided ear plugs which Im not used to, but could really work for others.

Beautiful chill and tranquil space
Pros:

Perfect place to stay for me and my family in San Pancho! This place is zen like and beautiful place for a vacation stay. I felt lucky to be here.

Cons:

It could sometimes be noise due to roosters or bar goers in the night but they provided ear plugs and we slept well. Overall a chill zen experience in the daytime with their fountain making water sounds. But hey turn the fountain off at night.

Beautiful details, serene and comfortable!
Pros:

Excellent location, you can walk 5 minutes and be anywhere. Pool with fountain and greenery are awesome for afternoon out if heat of day from beach. Very comfortable beds and pillows!

Cons:

Thankful for earplugs they provided for roosters in morning behind the property.

A gem in the center of town.
Pros:

We have stayed at Pal Mar hotel a few times and each stay is fabulous. The rooms are spacious, complete with a full kitchen. The staff is very friendly and if you need anything, they are on it! The grounds are meticulously kept and the pool is very quiet and relaxing. One of the best things about Pal Mar, is the location. You literally are in the center of town where you can walk to fabulous restaurants, yoga studios and of course the beach.

Pros:

Beautiful place with everything we needed to enjoy the last 4 nights of our holiday.
The pool is very clean, please give the groundskeeper/pool guy a tip!

Over priced for the room location
Pros:

Nice pool. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Very small room , no tv, but good closet for clothes. Close to foyer so you hear everything in hallway and front desk. No view in sitting area outside which was disappointing. Glass doors don’t block noise either so noise was the worst bad though thankfully fairly quiet at time except for some music playing outside…. Earplugs helped. Over priced in my opinion for 1 night.

An excellent option in San Pancho
Pros:

Stayed at Pal Mar for eight days at the beginning of February. The room is comfortable and well appointed. It and all of the common areas were kept spotlessly clean. Great location, off the Main Street but close to everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. The roosters were a bit annoying but we found if you kept the bathroom door closed and ran the air conditioning, the white noise helped. Not a big problem for us. The pool area is nice but not huge. We chose to spend most of our time at the beach anyway. Pal Mar is an excellent, boutique hotel. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay in a tropical paradise
Pros:

Excellent location within walking distance of all the town offers and the beach. They provide umbrellas chairs and towels for the beach as well as no charge.
Staff was friendly and rooms immaculately clean. Well stocked kitchen in our space and lovely patio looking onto the pool. Beautiful tropical plantings within the pool courtyard. If you are sensitive to noise I suggest booking a room in the back of the hotel. The town is vibrant and friendly and the beaches are beautiful. Can’t go wrong!

Beautiful, friendly, clean, well-located
Pros:

Pal.Mar is a beautiful hotel. The front desk people are friendly and helpful. The housekeeping is immaculate. The location is perfect. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, and there are many restaurants within walking distance. As a solo woman travel, I felt completely safe, both at the hotel and around town. The kitchen had everything one could need, and free fresh coffee to brew. The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water, the hotel provided purified water. I recommend this hotel very much.

Fabulous property
Pros:

My husband and I usually stay at boutique hotels wherever we travel. We are not the all-inclusive resort types at all. Our room had a full kitchen so we could do breakfast and lunch in our rooms. The balcony was very pleasant to sit in the evening and drink a glass of wine. Super close to markets where you can get fresh fruit and vegetables that you can sanitize and eat. You can get quality Mexican wine at El Indio nearby. There is a yoga studio next door with great classes. Thank you to all the staff who were professional and made us feel welcome.
