Another guest talking loudly on the phone in the hallway in the middle of the night.
The Heat pump in the room and the beds were reasonably comfortable.
The place is totally run down. The water pressure in the shower was so weak it almost hard to get wet. The hot water was not constant. The room was very tired. There were no smoke alarms in the room or in fact anywhere in the lodge that I could see? And no sign of another fire detection system? The place didn't appear to have staff on duty of if they were they were always in the a joining restaurant. The gounds and common spaces were also tired and un kept.
I have to say this place Rocked! Absolutely loved it. Great facilities, excellent price. Everything was easy. Great kitchen. Comfortable room, clean toilets and showers. No noise issues. And the spa and saunu were just spot on and so incredibly good after a day on mountain. This will definitely be my go to place to stay. Thanks Snowman lodge
Location was good. Kitchen well equipped
Showers didn't work. Bathroom dirty. Spa came at a cost and was expensive and not appealing. Room was poorly built and very hot. Turned radiator off but still too hot to sleep.
Restaurant door open and we were visible when walking to bathroom in pj's.

Location was good and staff were friendly.
Our bed was very uncomfortable and the curtain didn't cover the whole window so we had light shinning into our room the whole night. The dry room smelled of mice excrement and made our towels smell.
Central location in ohakune was good.
- no heating
- no hot water
- curtains barely blocked light
- freezing cold
- bed was like sleeping on a big ass Swiss ball.
Very affordable and nice staff all around.
If you’re not a fan of noises, bring some ear plugs or ear pods to block out the sound. The wall is definitely not sound proof nor being so close to the main road.
Location is good. The staffs are good.
Water in shower is not so hot even cold after 10:30.
I don’t know when earlier before 10:00.
