Asher is a great ambassador for the hotel!
Pros:

I have stayed at this hotel many times. The staff are always friendly and professional. But I have to say that Asher at the front desk was a bright spot. He had a great smile and made us feel like he would handle any problems (we had none) with ease. The room was clean, air conditioner worked (105 while we were there), bed was comfy, and it is a great location. I left a charger in the room that they put aside for me for my next trip there in a month. I like getting the text messages & they have always responded quickly.

True kindness from the Front Desk when Hilton’s server was down across the nation
Pros:

I was attending a close friend’s surprise birthday party and chose Home2Suites by Hilton Bakersfield because it was within walking distance to the restaurant where the party was held. Although I wasn’t able to check in due to Hilton Hotel’s server being down nationwide, the front desk, especially Tyrena, was so friendly and welcoming. She and the staff offered complimentary snacks and beverages, and was especially sweet to the small guests accompanying their parents. The hotel lobby was very comfortable and gave me an opportunity to enjoy a novel I brought with me. When the servers were backup, Tyrena immediately let me know and I was able to check in. None of the guests who showed up were perturbed by the delay, and I attribute it to the kindness and hospitality we received. I made sure to thank the front desk team throughout my short stay, and I hope they received thanks from others checking in that Friday. I also wanted to add that I was very pleased with my room during my overnight stay.
