Point A Kensington Olympia

I was in a room that faced the road, so it was better to leave the windows closed and rely on the aircon so as to keep the road noise down. This was not really a problem though.

We had a basement room which we did choose but it was much smaller that we expected

No room drink facilities

The rooms are compact ! No space for the baggage , no tea making facility in room although there is hot water in the lobby . For travellers , it's the little things that count and tea / water should be available .
The breakfast is very basic . Do not expect the traditional English breakfast . No variation as well.

Unfortunately, my overall experience was disappointing. The rooms are extremely small, with very little space to move around. There is no proper wardrobe, only a few wall hooks for hanging clothes. The bed is also very small, and I believe it would be uncomfortable for anyone who is taller or has a larger build.

The service was below expectations. Housekeeping was not provided daily, and we often had to leave our used towels outside the room and wait for replacements. Fresh towels were only provided after we requested them.

The room lacked many basic amenities that are normally expected in a hotel. There was no refrigerator, no kettle or tea and coffee facilities, no complimentary bottled water, and no hand lotion. The only cups provided were disposable plastic cups in the bathroom. We asked for proper glass cups for the room, but our request was refused. We also requested a knife, but this was declined for security reasons.

While the location is excellent, the poor service, lack of basic facilities, and extremely small rooms made this stay disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel, and I would not choose to stay here again.

The room was a bit small, and the air conditioning was a bit difficult to adjust. However, because everything else was wonderful, these were just minor issues that didn't bother me much.
