התשתיות במלון ישנות, היו כתמים ישנים על השטיח ועל הכורסא בחדר. בתיאור המלון נכתב ווייפיי אך כשהגענו למלון נאמר לנו שהוא לא עובד בשל הגשם (!!) ולא יחזור בימים הקרובים

Beside the WiFi connection, amazing stay. 9/10
Pros:

We visited Washington, D.C. to celebrate my birthday. We arrived at the hotel two hours early. Since it was my birthday, they checked us in early and presented me with a delightful gift: a bottle of red wine, a box of chocolate, and a bag of chips. We were given a room on the highest floor. The restaurant connected to our room was simply amazing. For brunch, they went above and beyond by surprising me with a cake that had “Happy Birthday” written on it and a complimentary small cocktail. Our server captured the moment beautifully with a photo and sang happy birthday. They made my birthday feel truly special.

Cons:

I brought my laptop to do some college work during my trip, but unfortunately, there was no WiFi connection the entire time. They claimed it was due to weather conditions, but it wasn’t even on once.

First DC visit
Pros:

This was the first time I stayed in Washington. We chose this place based on location, price, and reviews. It is a small boutique hotel. The room was large and clean. The service staff was polite and friendly. It's a little bit away from the major sights in a quiet and safe area. We used Uber to get around, but the Metro is a short walk. We enjoyed our stay, but next time, we would try to stay closer to the National Mall.

Overall great!
Pros:

Good location, safe, close to the White House. A lot of restaurants and bars around. The room was spacious with confortable bed. Restaurant staff very nice.

Cons:

The reception staff was relatively distant. The furniture in the room was quite old. The absence of an option for breakfast during week-end, but only a restricted brunch was a minus I think.

Great experience!
Pros:

Andy was an amazing bartender. He catered to our needs and made our first day at Hotel Madera. I will continue to go downstairs just to get a crafted cocktail from him!

Long was a great receptionist and made our check in very painless and prompt. Excited to see what comes from the rest of my vacation!

Clean. Friendly staff. Great location. Large room.

Cons:

No fitted sheets. That was weird. My son ordered scrambled eggs for breakfast. They brought him chopped up fried eggs and said, “that’s how we make it here.” But I had scrambled eggs the day before and they were normal. Also weird. Just remake the eggs. Not a dealbreaker, just weird.

Great location, nice rooms, questionable AC
Pros:

This property is in a great location, near metros, great restaurants, and DuPont circle. The rooms are a good size and FireFly has great drinks.

Cons:

The AC in the room couldn’t cool the room down at night and the room smelled like pot in the morning. I don’t know if that is because someone in a nearby room was waking and baking or if it was because the room was on a lower floor and someone was smoking on the street.
