Beautiful situation, disappointing food
Pros:

Seductive location in an old Manor House complex which includes the original house(used for weddings etc), residential and the hotel/ restaurant. Close to motorway.
Characterful rooms with lots of beams!

Cons:

First room allocated (no 1) had a fuse box that hummed like an engine and the lovely lass on reception quickly found us another room (no 4) - which makes me think it’s happened before. The restaurant looks lovely and service was good but the food was very disappointing…..a small menu usually means ‘a few things cooked well’ but sadly not starter salad was way too salty, pasta Norma was disappointing ( we’ve eaten many much better versions on our month in Italy) and the duck breast was unforgivably over cooked.
Breakfast had no croissants (there were big cakes but I find them a bit much for breakfast), fruit salad was tinned pineapple slices. Very disappointing.

Best choice if you love modern things with touch of history and lovelly quiet places
Pros:

Very nice quiet place, good breakfast, beautiful location.
The art of “old” palace reconstructed respecting all the history but including modern features.
Comfortable beds

Cons:

The first drive there as it is situated the outside of Bologna and the last part is better to use SS64, not the autostrada if you don’t own telepass

La posizione: vicino al casello autostradale e al contempo immersa nella natura, quindi tranquillità assoluta. Punto di partenza ideale per escursioni a piedi e in bici. Ottima colazione self e pulizia impeccabile. Di qualità anche il ristorante sia per il menù che per il personale

Soggiorno rilassante e piacevole tra amiche
Pros:

Gita tra amiche, l'hotel doveva essere solo un punto di partenza e una sosta per la notte, ma in realtà era così piacevole e accogliente che la sera siamo rimaste a cena al ristorante e dopo abbiamo optato per chiacchiere in camera piuttosto che uscire. Immerso in un luogo ameno, molto rilassante e silenzioso. Camera spaziosa e pulitissima. Personale gentile. Al ristorante si mangia benissimo. Il borgo intorno e la natura sono meravigliosi per una passeggiata.

Cons:

Se dobbiamo proprio trovare un difetto, diremmo che la colazione è migliorabile al livello di scelta (non di qualità), non so perché la immaginavamo più varia, forse perché la struttura elegante e curata porta a pensare che la colazione sia altrettanto esaltante. E' sicuramente un'offerta più che soddisfacente, ci sono yogurt, cereali, zona salata, uova ecc, ma da amanti dei dolci a colazione, limitare la scelta a un ciambellotto e una crostata (comunque molto buoni entrambi), ci è sembrato leggermente riduttivo.

Ein tolles Erlebnis, in einem Palast zu nächtigen.
Pros:

Sehr schöne Anlage. Nettes Personal. Schönes großes Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Fenster Richtung Innenhof. Es fließt ein großer Bach mit Schleuse durch den Innenhof, welche ständig ein Grundrauschen verursacht, auch in der Nacht.
Fahrradabstellplatz im Freien im eingezäunten Autoparkplatz, der abgesperrt war.
