Best Western Plus Orlando East - UCF Area

The AC did not work well. Sweating all night. No AC in the hotel. Towels had stains on them.

Our only gripe was a very slow flow from the cold sink tap (faucet). It wasn't really a problem as the shower was fine. So just a general moan, not a complaint!

I reserved a king bed when I got there I changed it to two queen beds and they charge me $30. Never heard of that before not even in a five star hotel. Also, the AC in the lobby was broken and anything I wanted to charge to the room I had to pay upfront.

Run down, so-so breakfast, so-so bed

The lady at the front desk was not friendly. She was on the phone when we approached the Desk for sheets and a pillow for the sofa bed. She continued to talk on the phone to apparently a coworker complaining that the Breakfast person called out for the next day. We stood there for quite a while until she acknowledged us.

Breakfast was awful all three days! We figured the first day was because they were short staffed. It was the same food each day, no variety. The toaster was broken, the waffle mix was too thick the first day and too thin the second day. Which didn't make for good waffles. Scrambled eggs and sausage were offered each day. White bread, which we could not toast. We opted not to eat there the third day. Which was unfortunate considering the price we paid for our room! It was very expensive and I'm assuming it was because of the graduations taking place that weekend.
As for the room, the bathtub was so dirty, and it was obvious that it has not been scrubbed in a long time. We had two bath towels for four people staying in the room. Which was in the reservation. No washcloths, no shampoo and one roll of toilet paper. There were not any pool towels either. When we asked the lady at the front desk if we could get some towels, she said they did not have any. We went back several hours later and we were told by a different lady that they didn't have any because the hotel was booked. It just was not a good experience at all. I also want to add the pool was not clean and full of leaves. This hotel needs some TLC!!

Stayed there before and everything was good. So I booked there again May4th-5th and it was horrible! Upon entering the room it was an unusual smell but I always bring my own disinfectant spray. One of my beds had a spot on the duvet, the tub had a ring around it and hair in the tub letting me know the room wasn’t clean which explained the smell. The inside of the toilet was also dirty! The window didn’t have a screen and the refrigerator didn’t work at all. Reported this to the night clerk but I was told there’s nithing she can do about it because she was there alone. The wash towels was so thin and worn that once they were wet you can see through them literally they may as well had holes in them. The next morning no one asked about my stay nor my complaint which really bothered me. Until they go under New management or get housekeepers that cares I’ll never stay here again which is upsetting because I come there to visit my daughter at UCF.

El baño estaba extremadamente sucio!

Al llegar al cuarto no funcionaba la batería de la puerta por lo que estuve 2 días sin poder abrir la puerta con la tarjeta tenía que ir al lobby para que vinieran abrir y las toallas rotas y bien manchadas la ropa de cama manchada la alarma de incendio se quedó activa sonando lo notifiqué y nunca lo resolvieron a demás nunca le dieron servicio al cuarto lo que fue un disgusto ya que no pudimos descansar bien.
