Hotel Siru Brussels

The hotel is under constructio, elevator is horribly slow, difficult to open entrance door. Hope it will be better.

Ενα θέμα μόνο που διμιουργηθηκε με την ρεσεψιόν.Όχι πολυ σημαντικό αλλά άξιο αναφοράς. Μία μέρα όταν επιστρέψαμε στο ξενοδοχείο, ή κύρια είσοδος ήταν κλειστή και έπρεπε να μπούμε από το διπλανό ξενοδοχείο που ανήκε στο ίδιο συγκρότημα, πράγμα που δεν ήταν από μόνο του πρόβλημα . Το πρόβλημα ήταν στην ενημέρωση που δεν υπήρχε, δηλαδή ότι κάποιες μέρες η είσοδος μπορεί να είναι κλειστή και οι οδηγίες που δεν ήταν σαφείς και εύκολα εντοπισημες.

La reception non esisteva c era un Cantiere edile. Nella notti è scattato l allarme di emergenza . Abbiamo chiamato più volte il numero della reception sia dell Hotel Siru, sia dell Hotel colonne by mercury dove è stato fatto il check in . Nulla da fare nel cuore della notte siamo stati costretti a scendere in strada . Andare nella reception dell albergo a cui si appoggia il Siru per avere spiegazioni e rassicurazione . Inoltre le camere sporche. Il letto sopra il letto matrimoniale nenche L hanno fatto. Macchie nelle lenzuola e cattivo odore nei corridoi che dall ascensore portavano all stanza. Sembrava una stalla.

Había obras en el hall y no había recepción en el edificio. La recepción y el desayuno lo ofrecía un hotel próximo..

I think if you're renovating, close the whole hotel and finish the job and then re-open. Now - smells like sewer, entrance together with a construction site, seems abandoned, no personnel around, rooms outdated, tv not working.

Heel laat geïnformeerd dat inchecken in ander hotel moest gebeuren. Beetje zoeken dus. Geen medewerkers gezien. Hygiëne was niet ok.

Un día dejó de ir el agua caliente y no hubo ningún tipo de aviso. Solo hay un ascensor y bastante lento (para muy o fue realmente un problema porque no tenía prisa)

Toilet wasn’t clean when we arrived, reception closed however was informed this AFTER we had booked. Staff in the hotel next door were rude when we arrived but good enough hotel for 1 night.

Obviously a lot of building work so could not get to reception/breakfast without exiting hotel into the rain and entering other hotel around the corner. Normally the hotel is OK (I have been going here for around 20 years!) but I had a number of issues this time. I note that some of the staff were new (as it has been taken over) and had only been working there a few weeks apparently.

1) When I first arrived the youngster on reception was very off with me - a training issue I think. I avoided this person for the rest of the week ensuring that I engaged with other members of staff who were great.
2) Breakfast was very hit and miss. The organisation was all over the place. Sign in for breakfast not in entrance causing people missing signing in and the poor lady to chase people around the restaurant for room numbers. Milk around corner from cereals with labels displayed the wrong way around so could not see them, jam, butter and bread all bizarrely located as far away as possible from each other to maximise the walk, only a spoon to pick up bacon with (entertaining), spoon to pick up butter with, no spoons to serve yoghurt, etc. All really simple stuff to fix if someone just looked at it!
3) One morning there was clearly a very large party of guests. There was no coffee, no coffee cups, no bread, no orange juice, no milk, no egg, no yogurt, no fruit.... Eventually after 20 minutes I went behind the bar and got a beer glass and managed to get an expresso in it, but felt that I had not had breakfast! I went out and got a coffee somewhere else. Clearly the staff were overwhelmed by the numbers. This may be an isolated incident but this needs looking at from a management point of view.
