Comfort Suites Keeneland

Hairs all over shower. Room felt wet and Wreaked of mildew. This was the state of the facilities.

Overall experience was nasty and uncomfortable staff was unpleasant

Being able to hear the traffic. But that is not the hotels fault.

The staff, specifically a lady named Stephanie with an absolutely terrible attitude and no compassion. I loved everything else about the motel except for thr fact they are located near the hospital but staff with no compassion for people with no control of timing just needing rest. I paid for my room & got there late due to not getting to leave with my son who just had a seizure the day before at the time we had planned. He had heart rate complications & I won't go into further detail but we just wanted a couple hours of rest before making him take the journey on home. We were there because he had to be sent to UK pediatrics. I will definitely find another motel for my stay in the future. Stephanie told the other staff "she about to get it" saying she was gonna fight me because I just wanted to get checked into my room & rest after paying $103 for just 4 hours in the room anyway. Definitely recommend choosing other motels around there as there is plenty especially if you seeking rest from leaving the hospital!!

The receptionist would never smile, even if try to be nice with them. So, don’t pay attention to their attitude

Our room was really crowded when using the hide-a-bed. Even before pulling it out, the hide-a-bed couch was visibly worn out. The hide-a-bed mattress was disgustingly stained and very thin. It was late and we were exhausted, or I would have asked for a different room - I had to trust that the bedding was clean enough to protect my teen, which is a gross thought when sleeping in a hotel. The next morning my teen said there was only one section of the bed that they could sleep on or there were springs poking them in the back. The carpet appeared clean but when we walked barefoot our feet felt super grimy like we were picking up a coating of some sort. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The eggs were definitely the powdered kind. We have gluten and dairy allergies so the weird eggs and sausage were our only options. The coffee was very weak. We planned to stay on our return trip home but cancelled Comfort Suites Keeneland and spent $42 more and drove 15 minutes further to stay in a higher quality hotel. It was worth it on every level - space, cleanliness, and food quality. Sorry Comfort, we typically like you a lot. We have a family of five with teens and your suites with 2 queens and a hide-a-bed are usually a good fit for our family. You've gotten LOTS of business from us over the years and typically been our first place to check when traveling, but after this we'll be looking at reviews MUCH more skeptically before giving your company any future business. Apparently spending a bit more is worth it. We're really disappointed.
