Our stay was relaxing and we slept well. Everyone was very nice and friendly

Nice staff, clean room, good breakfast, convenient location. Annoyed by extra fee to park.
Pros:

Location is very close to autotrain station where I needed to go the next day.

Cons:

My room was much too cold. AC was set at 70F. Brrr! I changed the controls to 76F but it took a long time for my room to reach a more comfortable temp. Fortunately the bedding included a warm bedspread. I also felt a bit miffed by the $9 fee to park my car in your parking lot. Is this something new? I did not recall it from my past stays at this location. I booked through booking.com this time and I don’t think the extra fee for parking was mentioned there - but maybe I just missed seeing it.

As someone traveling alone, I found this particular hotel the perfect location:clean room, very warm personnel, excellent location, and an especially wonderful hot breakfast.

Extremely disappointed in the quality of this Holiday Inn. It could use some remolding.

Cons:

I have stayed in other Holiday inns across the country, and this one was the worst. First of all, I pre-paid through Booking.com and when I got there, they charged $9.00 for parking. When I booked this room, I was not told a parking fee would be required. On Holiday Inn's website it only mention " preferred parking "nothing about a parking fee.

The breakfast was poor quality. Only one meat sausage was like rubber, they ran out of pancake batter, Potato pan was empty and eggs were watery. I was there at 9:30am for breakfast. We asked to refill and it never happened.

This is the last time I will stay in a Holiday Inn.
