Pros:

Great location at the edge of steamboat with the free bus picking up right out front. Very clean and well maintained. Love that you can use the Holiday Inn gym and pool facilities next door.

Cons:

Bathroom sink was clogged with a ton of hair. Did not like that you had to pay $12 per night for parking for no apparent reason. Waffles were likely supposed to be frozen but tasted thawed and refrigerated instead.

Staff were constantly on their phones, breakfast was very limited with stuffed trash cans, and I can’t get through to staff on the phone to get an invoice.

Great price, great room . . . but charging $12 for parking??? C'mon ... just up your price by $12!
Pros:

Excellent price for being within city limits of Steamboat Springs, a notoriously expensive ski/tourist town. Clean, fresh room (#096, main floor), very comfortable King bed with an open-concept extra space with sleepable sofa and an additional flatscreen TV. The walk-in shower was stellar! About 2 or 3 easy-driving miles to the wonderful old town.

Cons:

$12 for parking!!!! Who'da thunk it?
Free Breakfast, up to good La Quinta standards, started, however, a 7 and not at 6. Too late for this couple, so we went downtown to The Shack --- very nice, and they DO open at 6.
