Disappointed for the price we paid.

Cons:

Very long walk from room to reception and dining. No fridge in the room. Only tissues, shampoo and body wash supplied. No other toiletries at all. We requested an omelette for breakfast and were advised it would be an extra £5 each! No waiter service at all on 2nd morning, everything completely self serve even tea and coffee.

Cons:

There was no hand soap by the sink it was either over the bath or in shower which was no where near sink - when asked for some said it wasn’t there because of sustainability which I didn’t understand little thinks like biscuits/ shower caps also not available even on request

Location for me was perfect. Arrived late so no oppotunity to try any facilities

Not uplifting because of the decor.
Pros:

Good and friendly staff, good food and breakfast, comfortable but dismal room. I did not use the spa, but it looked nice. Gardens also pleasant with huge trees.

Cons:

The decor of the whole place is dark and depressing. Dark walls, dark floor and corridors. Accessing my room entailed a long walk down a dark corridor with lighting coming on every few meters at a time, then down stairs and more dismal corridor. Overall a depressing atmosphere.

Great location, a tired hotel that’s bedrooms need an update desperately.
Pros:

Excellent location, well presented reception area and car park. Pleasant staff.

Cons:

Small bed, no air con, bedroom needed a complete refresh. Chairs and carpet in room need a deep clean. Better fridge, bottled water needed and milk to make coffee.
