Close to Lego land and beautiful!
All good.
Location to Ascot Racecourse
Room was very dated & old. No water in room. Service was slow. So overpriced taking into consideration Ascot was on and I expect to pay more but it offered poor value.
Close to ascot racecourse
Air conditioning didn’t work and hairdryer didn’t work
Bed was comfortable
Bathroom fan deafeningly loud
Aircon ineffective
Staff rude on arrival
Room very tired and old
Abusive pricing strategy around Royal Ascot
A fantastic villas great accommodation and setting close to everything. A must try is the Halfway House restaurant across the road another villa family gem.
No negatives whatsoever
The reception staff were lovely. The spa area was ok (but for a spa hotel not brilliant)
The hotel is very run down, and I do mean VERY. They seem more interested in policing the car park than they do anything else.
The restaurant serves a limited menu so you’d expect the chefs to understand the difference between well done and medium rare. They don’t. We stayed 2 nights running and apart from the chaos of staff members running around like headless chickens because they were not managed (but what can you expect when the manager was no more than 23 years old herself), the food which was served was very poor.
The rooms were just terrible. Old, tired, dirty mismatched carpets in the communal areas, every rap I touched whether in the public restrooms or the en-suite bathroom needed to be tightened, replaced… just general maintenance please!
We stayed during Ascot week. The hotel charges a significant premium which, if the hotel worked like a Swiss watch would be justified… an old saying about “making hay while the sun shines” is apt here but when the hotel is badly maintained, badly in need of proper management, has zero concept of “value for money” then it will continue its sad decline.
Apparently it was once a fantastic hotel. Today I’d rather stay in a better location in a travel lodge.
A parting example… the hotel was offering a shuttle service to Ascot racecourse (about 2 miles). They wanted £20 per person. There was 6 in our party. An uber / bolt 6 seater cost £25 total for the same journey in a Mercedes. I will let the hotel justify this difference in price should they be brave enough to reply. It sums up what value for money this hotel isn’t..
Loved the pool and hydrotherapy pool with the jets
They do not service your room furniture no your stay
Good hotel clean and tidy
The spa facilities were nice. The pool outside was lovely
The room was very tired, lots of chipped decor. Very comfy beds though. Thread bare carpets, rusty features in the bathroom
Siłownia i basen czynne całą dobę
Slitet hotellrum. Sprucket handfat. Skavd målning på dörrposter. Fuktsläpp av målarfärg i taken
Breakfast was average sausages need cooking longer and bacon needs to be crispy . Drink ie coffee was just standard no options or who served us couldn’t be bothered
The tv in room was dated no Netflix or subscription options
The hotel, spa and breakfast.
The spa receptionist.
Generally unfriendly staff. Why work in hospitality if you dont like dealing with members of public. trays / food / glasses just left for days in corridor and overall a depressing hotel to stay. Only slight positive is the spa and gym for the money paid.
We got married at The Berysyede last July and im only just getting round to writing a review now.
From the first visit meeting Cleo myself and my Mother in Law were both blown away by the venue and by Cleo.
We were shown the various packages and options available and shown the spaces available for the ceremony and the evening reception.
We went away and I promptly returned the same evening with my now husband to show him around. He loved the space just as much as us.
Safe to say we booked!
Cleo was so helpful from the first correspondence to after the wedding. Nothing wad too much trouble even tho she is clearly rushed off her feet especially during the crazy wedding season
We had the best day and everything went so smoothly. The food was amazing and we had so many so comments from our guests about how this was the best wedding food they had ever had!!
We spent the night before and rhe night of the wedding at the hotel and the bridal suite was truly impressive. A huge bed, dressing room, bathroom and seating area.
We would 100% recommend this venue for a wedding and we are looking forward to pur complimentary anniversary meal this coming July!
