Lovely and comfortable stay. Check in staff seemed inexperienced which was a pity in a way as our overall experience was

Extremely clean and comfortable. In room facilities and toiletries are very good. Great location and staff were friendly and helpful once warmed up.

Cons:

£20 per night charge for parking seemed excessive for guests

A wonderful short stay in beautiful surroundings to celebrate a family birthday
Pros:

A very warm welcome from reception staff. The hotel was spotlessly clean with high quality fixtures and fittings and comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent and the location is very convenient for Bath city centre and all the attractions.

Cons:

I don’t feel that the hotel should not charge guests to use the car park. £20 per day is expensive and maybe a reduced rate could be charged for patrons. It was no cheaper than the public car park.

A few small niggles but overall would consider staying again.
Pros:

Central location, good brasserie, helpful staff, interesting paintings and generous consideration of dog friendly areas in the hotel.

Cons:

Fierce springs on bedroom doors which slammed. Outrageous Pet Charge … no dog bed, bowls, towel, treats …£35 a night! Dark decor in room. No cold water from hand basin. (Told this was because of plumbing/building issues) How come there was cold water in the shower!

Excellent location and facilities, and wonderful staff!
Pros:

Location for theatre was excellent, and room was very comfortable and clean. Highlight was the helpful and friendly staff, all the way from the Concierge to the staff at breakfast.
