Dirtiness of the room and swimming pool water
The staff moved us to a new room without any fuss. We also liked the swimming pool.
The spider in the first room and pubic hair in the shower.
Nothing. I always have loved Holiday inn and so booked this hoping it was the regular holiday inn but was disappointed. I didn’t particularly like anything.
The hotel was generally old/dilapidated. As you walk in your room, the floor cracks. Won’t stay there again.
Great location- Chester Zoo was only a short drive away. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was a bit expensive at £16.95 per adult. Kids ate free but it still meant over £60 for breakfast over 2 days.
I had a couple of problems with my room but the staff were great and it was all sorted

The room was very dirty. So much dust along skirting boards , the shower looked like it had never been cleaned.
Some old electric fan in the room , not sure there was any A/C
The manager in the restaurant was extremely rude to everyone and his own staff, starter and main came out together. Messed 3 other orders up while I was sat watching.

Not enough cups in room, or toilet rolls, stayed in Holiday Inn before family room much larger,with separate single beds for the kids, on a positive the swimming pool was a bonus. Satis
Shower was wonderful. Really powerful, accurate adjustment, and room to stand in cubicle and adjust without trying to avoid the water whilst setting temperature. Best one I've had on hotel so far.
Staff lovely and friendly.
Ac unit on room had maintenance symbol come up when switched on, so didn't like to use. Was a fan provided but quite rattly.
Luckily although rooms were warm they weren't hot so managed without.
Nice bar but a couple of speciality gins would have been nice, although they had three or four, all fairly standard.

Bags of laundry left in corridors had to manouver husbands wheel chair over them
