Frustrating, having to chase for an invoice
Pros:

Good location.

Cons:

Extremely Poor customer facing service.
If staying for business, beware!
Unable to contact by phone to request invoice.
Automated response when trying to contact via msg.
Air conditioning in rooms needs attention due to Damp/musky smell.

Terrible experience, very disappointing, what should have been a great weekend ruined
Pros:

The staff were friendly but unable to do anything or take decisions, seemed frustrated about the situation they found themselves with all the disputes with guests

Cons:

The property is in need of major maintenance and updating across in all locations, booked due to the promise of Air-conditioning only to find that the air conditioning has been out of service for over 4 months with management fully aware and no attempt to repair
Couldn’t stay as room temperature was over 30deg and even the staff couldn’t stand it
Additionally the fan in the room was broken and also not working
Very bad , left and was promised a full refund which till now has not materialised or any follow up by managment to apologise

This hotel has the potential to be a real gem, once staffing, cleaning and decorating are sorted.
Pros:

Most staff were lovely, despite being clearly short in number.
Quiet room requested & provided.

Cons:

Accommodation areas need serious attention - decorating and cleaning. Bedroom carpet was grim, with an unpleasant smell. I love dogs, having had them as pets all my life, but they are not acceptable in restaurants at meal times, nor should they be allowed in all bedrooms; a separate area to accommodate people with dogs and a separate outside exercise area should be provided. Some kitchen chaos at the start of my stay, with a lone member of staff doing her very best to keep up with orders & refilling breakfast bar. Improvement over the weekend, with extra staff on hand.
Big problem requesting small jug of fresh milk to have with morning tea in my room! Staff didn’t seem to understand. I was then told there was a charge, which has never happened before. Fortunately, the milk arrived eventually and I didn’t pay any charge! Restaurant, bar & hotel are separately run, which doesn’t help!

No communication. Phone calls unanswered. Never again.
Pros:

We finally got the keycodes from the guy near reception.

Cons:

The whole booking process was tortuous. Nobody answered phone calls. Apalling communication.

A good nights with a swim
Pros:

On line check in was good and easy as we arrived late we didn't have to worry

Cons:

Its nit i didnt like but rooms were a bit dated and tired but perfectly acceptable

Pleasant
Pros:

Parking - across the road from reception. Efficient welcome. No keys - electronic key pad code for access to room. Fresh airy public rooms. Bedroom (Privilege room) quiet and spacious - generous seating area with french doors to garden.
Bathroom adequate in size with good towels and over bath shower. Comfortable bed and pillows. Dinner - Indian and European menus - much preferred the Indian options. - table service disjointed but good natured. Breakfast - fair start to the day

Cons:

Personal interface is poor - not greeted on entering restaurant - no one in evidence actually - necessary to ask another guest what menu and ordering protocol was. Check out - clearly preferred "self check out" not appropriate for my visit and reception clearly flustered by my request.

Bizarre place - so much potential. The pool and restaurant great, the rest not so much.

Great potential, lovely pool and nice bar and restaurant area. Good breakfast

Cons:

Told the room was ground floor but had to go up about ten steps and down 5. No one offered to help with bags. No phone in room so hard to contact reception. Paying for parking. Tired rooms - needs an upgrade. Some of the food clearly frozen or microwaved.

The hotel was close to the main trail and all trails were very accessible, the staff was friendly

Cons:

The room is not at all like how it's advertised on the booking.com website, it was extremely dusty, the air con was not working and it was very hot inside the room. When raised with the staff they said we have some issues with the central air con which was very unpleasant in peak summer season. The carpet was very dirty and also the hotel did not have basic toiletries like a brush or toothpaste

Staff are wonderful, surroundings are very pretty.

Cons:

There was no AC or it did not work and my night was this year’s hottest. Staff did what they could. If there is no heatwave this hotel is excellent value for money.

Advertised AC not working during severe heatwave simply not acceptable as it was main reason for booking hotel. No one took responsibility for this and never received compensation for checking out a day early due to above.
