An beautiful building. We loved the mix of old and new. Both room and communal areas were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional and we enjoyed the good quality of the breakfast.
No complaints
The central location was excellent, walking distance to town, great to have ample parking. Loved the garden with the beautiful trees and lavender lined paths. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Someone banged against my room door on the first night at about 12:30 in the morning, no idea why but it woke me and scared me. The room I was in was right next to the stairs so was noisy as people were passing through and generally there was a lot of background noise from people in other rooms running taps, the pipes/heating etc. The shower wasn't very clean, and the sanitary envelope dispenser was empty and dusty. The room images on Booking.com showed pod coffee capsules as if these were made available to guests when actually only bog standard Nescafe sachets were available which does not fit with the image, price or target audience of this kind of hotel. I didn't try the cooked breakfast till the second day, the hash browns, sausage and mushroom were great, however, the scrambled eggs were cold lumps and the bacon was almost impossible to cut. I had to tighten the door handle up on the wardrobe and the internal mirror on the door was a bit too low. The wardrobe hanging rail was also a bit high making it hard to put hangers on it. There were also bits in the bed like foliage from the trees had blown in when I first arrived.
Excellent hotel, very charming! Love to stay in such old houses!
Loooooooved the garden! By far the best breakfast of our stay in UK!!
Nothing!
Central location in town center. The courtyard was lovely.
Nothing!
Breakfast served in bar as we had our dog with us, we were very well looked after.
Bathroom fan very noisy, it’s one of my pet hates. I have a near silent fan at home, they are available and last a long time.
Quick access to the town centre..
Garden patio area was superb
Room was brilliant..
Staff were very helpful
Bar never to busy..
The English breakfast was a little on the cold side..
Great staff and location
Came down to Farnham for a couple days and stopped at the Bush Hotel
Really pleased with the location right in the centre of town, good parking, the centre garden area was a great place to unwind and relax, staff were really friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is in the centre of the town it was really quiet and no noise from the nearby roads. Room was very clean,
Looking forward to booking again.
My only minor concern was that the full English breakfast was a tad on the cold side, but apart from that we shall certainly be back.
History, character, and charm…the quintessential English country inn located in the lovely, characterful town of Farnham.
Nothing
The patio and the garden area was really nice, lovely to sit out and have an evening meal and drink.
The location was fantastic, right in the middle of Farnham with its own parking. We visited Chawton, Jane Austens House, and Highclere both short drives from Farnham.
Given the high temperatures the air-conditioning in the bedroom was a life saver.
Nothing really.
We went to The Bush for a Sunday lunch, it was a gorgeous sunny day and the restaurant looked lovely, some people inside and some sitting out in the lush garden enjoying the sun. We were greeted and taken to our table, our waitress, Rosa took our drinks order and told us about the menu and the soup of the day when our drinks arrived we ordered our food which turned out to be very good, one of the best roast beef I have had in a while, perfectly cooked and a generous portion with all the trimmings, service was excellent and Rosa was charming. Will be back!
