Room looked over the courtyard. WE had a charity dinner at the hotel excellent all went smoothly.
Breakfast was continental but good. I personally prefer a full English when staying away.
All good. welcomed arrival at the desk. settled in. went down for cream tea. The evening charity for Phyllis Tuckwell hospice went really well and raised money for the new Hospice.
The garden
Kitchen closed. Microwave bar food. Ordered 2 meals ; turned up with one. Ran out of the other but didn't inform immediately so colleague ate alone. Offered another. Was full of cloves and cardamon pods ... I guess to make it look less processed. Couldn't say as every mouthful within the soupy meal contained cloves.
Room had bright spa lights glaring through windows after dark inspite of blackout curtains.
Bar staff clueless ... but polite.
Common areas very comfortable.
Room old-fashioned, tired, sub-standard and seen better days.
Would I stay here again ... no.
Front desk was helpful.
Location
Photos were misleading. Breakfast was awful but most of all I requested a bath and didn’t get one.
Everything was fantastic
Nothing.
Great location and nice public areas. Lovely breakfast and helpful staff
Can’t think of anything
central location and nice garden
I couldn’t get the lockbox in the room to witk
Clean large room and the AC worked which was a bonus given the heatwave. The only issue was there wasnt a table and chair to do work.
Sehr gerne wieder!
Beautiful property - better than we thought it would be ! Local townships and really lovely decorated
It was all amazing
