Close to airport and very clean. We arrived very late at night and the cot we requested was all ready, and it was comfortable.
We were put in an accessible room, had to kneel or bend to use the sink. Not sure if maybe this was necessary due to our cot request?
Great location , clean place and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good , kitchen staff specially Angela made sure guests had everything they needed.
Had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant. Fantastic service from Robert…what a credit to the restaurant. Nothing was to much trouble. Hospitality at its finest.
We had dinner at the restaurant here after a long stretch of travelling, and our waiter Robert was absolutely brilliant. He took our orders promptly, checked in at just the right times, and went completely above and beyond to make our toddler feel welcome.
He had a few fun chats and shared some high-fives with her, and even brought over a little activity bag of goodies that kept her thoroughly entertained. As tired parents, his genuine friendliness, care, and professionalism made our evening so much easier. We really appreciated his wonderful hospitality!

The location and hotel shuttle pickup from the airport was good even at night 8.30pm it was easy to commute from airport to the hotel very easily
The AC water started leaking around 12.30am and was not able to sleep as there was a sound of water falling on the floor, I called the room service and he came by 1am night saying we can change the room as my flight was early next day around 5.30am I said no, totally it was horrible experience as they should have checked everything properly, it was totally a very bad experience.

Need more staff on the front desk when busy. Check in took too long.
We stayed overnight, had a great meal in the restaurant and amazing hospitality by Vida. She was so welcoming and friendly with our children.
Once again a great ihg experience.
Good hotel before travelling Avida and Angela in the restaurant were fabulous and so were the reception team. The only one point was the air conditioning in the bedroom didn’t really work and was poor but would still stay again

Holiday Inn Gatwick was great value. Very comfortable & clean. It has a good restaurant although quite expensive. Lovely staff. There is shuttle bus which goes from the hotel to both terminals. ( picking up at two other hotels on the way). And from the airport to the hotel. I think it was busy stop 11 from North terminal. £4.50 pp each way. You can buy return ticket.
The bar was very noisy. But restaurant was ok. If rather expensive.
Location and staff were lovely
The AC was very poor ....I live in Australia and use same system as in hotel, but HI system was inadequate
