Hotel is lovely. They just need to drop the parking charge if you're actually staying at the hotel.

Room was a decent size.

Cons:

I explained difficulties filling the check-in form due to disabilities. Receptionist spoke little English, he didn't understand, so he just laughed. That was the wrong answer, he laughed at a disabled person experiencing difficulties. Is it too much to ask that a receptionist in an English hotel speaks enough English to not be so rude?

It was very expensive with an extra £50 deposit even when everything was prepaid.

A pleasant surprise to a clean and tidy hotel with welcoming staff.
Pros:

The hotel was clean and bright on entering, (not sure if it’s had a refurbishment recently) but everything looked quite new and therefore fresh.
We were welcomed warmly by the staff who were all very pleasant and friendly, consistently throughout our stay.
Rooms were clean and tidy, comfortable and well set out. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choices.
