Great value very comfortable stay in central Oxford location
Pros:

This hotel is in a fantastic central location in Oxford, right at the heart of the city. Very comfortable rooms - decor is "full on" but in keeping with the building and history of Oxford. Nice toiletries brand in the bathroom. Pleasingly low noise level for central location on a Saturday night. Helpful staff.

An exceptional taste of Oxford
Pros:

The hotel is exceptional and all staff were helpful and friendly. The guy on the door that took our bags and card keys the next morning was attentive and helpful. Telma on reception was simply lovely. The service we received in the Morse bar on arrival was swift and the evening in Alice restaurant on Monday 12th October was exceptional and friendly going the extra mile. We had a stunning stay for my daughter’s birthday.

Cons:

Very minor points. I didn’t find things in the room until later. I didn’t know the tea and cups etc were in the cupboard under the TV and didn’t find the room service menu for breakfast until it was too late as this was also hidden away in the cupboard. The bed was comfy but the pillows were very soft and meant sleeping quite flat. To be fair though we could have asked for more pillows. Minor things. Overall a great stay.

Pros:

Один из самых красивых отелей в стиле либерти, шикарный дизайн номеров, очень красивые лобби и ресторан, особая атмосфера, прекрасный сервис.
В номере роскошная кровать с прекрасным матрасом, всё настолько красиво и приятно, что не хотелось покидать этот отель.

Не встретили того, что не понравилось

La habitación asignada era la última del último piso, contigua a la sala del personal de limpieza, por lo que las toallas sucias estuvieron en el pasillo amontonadas durante toda la mañana. Esta situación me sucede cuando reservo con Booking.

A blissful stay

Great location, lovely staff, high standard of cleaning
Pros:

The location was perfect - we could walk to everywhere we wanted to visit

Cons:

Our room was disappointing. No view, dim lighting, not enough storage for our clothes, no suitable surface to place the coffee maker and kettle on, not enough power sockets, no USB charging points.
Breakfast buffet was good, but exactly the same every morning. No egg station, staff rushed and distracted

Pros:

Historical view in room 402 was a high window that didn't open and no view unless by the use of ladders ladders no where to sit in the legendary morses bar hotel seemed to be for the use of coach tourists .

Cons:

The cost of breakfast at £22 is just not worth it having to ask for a second cup of coffee not the norm for a 5 star supposed to be hotel.

schönes Stadthotel in guter Lage mit gutem Service
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels und der Valet Service sind sehr gut. Die beiden Einzelzimmer waren etwas klein. Es war jedoch alles vorhanden (Kosmetikartikel, Wasser, Kühlschrank, Sessel, Schrank). Die Zimmerausstattung hat mir gefallen (siehe jeodch unten).

Cons:

Die Bar im Hotel war etwas klein und leider immer belegt. Vor Buchung des Hotels sollte man sich die Zimmer ansehen. Sie sind -was die Tapeten und den Fußboden angeht- etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.

... Everything was lovely.. peaceful & quiet...

Cons:

...we had one issue...but something really important...I needed to go to the..Ladies Powder Room in the night...BUT...if I turned in the light in the Bathroom...it also turns in the two Bedside table Lights...so as my Granddaughter was fast asleep..I couldn't rist waking her as the light would have shone straight into her face..So..I had to go to the Bathroom with my Mobile Phone to get light...it really needs sorting out...
