Overpriced and very corporate.
Pros:

Breakfast was below a erage, no fried eggs, asked, told would be 5 miss, never arrived. Food bordered cold, staff seemed more caring of efficiency for them, ie running the food down at 9am rather then thinking of the guest,who had paid over£200 for onenight

Cons:

Breakfast room too noisy, even though marked as sound proofing, only 2 mugs and glasses a d there is a dishwasher! Looks like there were a pair of white pants wrapped around one of the smoke alarms, did inform reception

Comfortable and calm stay as part of a lovely city break
Pros:

Lovely room and facilities - we got upgraded so our room had air conditioning which was much appreciated in the very hot weather! Nice touches like complimentary drinks and dressing gowns, slippers and coffee machine available made it even nicer.

Really enjoyable weekend.
Pros:

Great location. Stones throw from the Cathedral and the town centre.
This was our second visit and both times we have found the staff fantastic, really good, going above and beyond. Just so helpful, particularly The duty manager (Joseph) and the 2 ladies on reception on Sunday 2nd. They even came out to the car park to help with a problem we had with our car! Fantastic.

Pros:

Location is great. Easy access to this beautiful City. Parking is available, Train Station is close too. You can even pop to London for the day plus the Station is a quick Taxi ride away from the Hotel. I didn't have breakfast or eat in the Restaurant as this was a flying visit.

Cons:

Reception isn't always manned, which is frustrating when you either have a question or need assistance

Pros:

We were upgraded to an apartment. It was sleek and modern, and the extra space was great with a baby. Staff were very accommodating, provided a cot without asking even though we forgot to request one. Apartment was fully air-conditioned. Gluten free options available for breakfast, with dedicated separate toaster located the other side of the room from gluten containing ingredients.
