Nice large room, nice to have the seating area. Breakfast was excellent with a huge selection on offer.
The heating was difficult to control and when we did get it on the right setting it hardly made any difference to the temperature in the room.

The reception staff, Jack and Ciara went above and beyond to support our check in. We were travelling for a wedding and had requested an early check in. Our room wasn't quite ready, so they took our bags whilst we went for a quick look around the city, they then had them placed in our room ready for us at the agreed time. They were so friendly and helpful.
There was a long wait at the bar in the afternoon and to be seated at breakfast.

Really lovely and welcoming hotel
Very good central location close to cathedral and the high street and driving to Stonehenge etc. Helpful staff and very easy parking right behind the hotel. Has stairs but obliging Staff carried our heavy bags upstairs for us.
A very poor stodgy evening meal for older guests wanting meal in hotel that was served in a dogs-allowed ‘cafeteria’ type room with zero atmosphere and noticeably very few other room guests dining in. (10 Sep 26). Breakfast in the dining room (!) on 11 Sep was good and noticeably well patronised.
Central city location. Pretty garden/terrace area where you could have breakfast or just sit out. Decent breakfast.
The restaurant was closed for evening meals (you could eat in a cafe area but it didn’t look very inviting). It may have just been closed for a function.
