Excellent location for a comfortable hotel which has a pool and gym.
Pros:

Location, grounds, comfortable bed, luxurious toiletries, good sized swimming pool and gym.

Cons:

Noisy fan in bathroom and noisy corridors at night. We found the duvet too hot for the time of year, even though the weather was not especially warm. No jacuzzi in pool area and the hair conditioner was empty in the showers.

Nice building but can’t recommend staying there
Pros:

Near to the town. The spa looked really nice. The manor had nice original features

Cons:

Very tired looking and very little atmosphere. The restaurant staff badly trained I didn’t expect to be told I hadn’t paid for a breakfast when I had. The food was very poor for the money charged
