Cons:

Air con was not functioning,
Although we had a booking confirmation number, which shows that everything is paid, we waited until they see the confirmation on their system. We said just checked us in but they did not

Perfect! Couldn't ask for anything better.
Pros:

Location was excellent, five minutes walk into the town centre and 2 minutes walk to the river side.
Breakfast was self service, fresh and replenished well.
Room was serviced every day to a high standard, small fridge with water bottles and tea, coffee and biscuits.

Impeccable stay.
Pros:

Beautiful and peaceful lovely location and old buildings.

Cons:

Everything was lovely in the building and all the facilities were luxurious. Staff were really lovely and friendly, they’d do anything for us. There just could have been a fridge in my room like my daughter had in her room.

Not a spa!
Pros:

We expected a spa type experience but it was no better than a municipal baths Tiny sauna; no jacuzzi, one towel each, bathrobes only for spa visitors even though we thought through booking a spa hotel we were eligible. We pre booked a lunch in the restaurant only to discover they only serve the bar menu at lunch ( which was good but we would have booked elsewhere if we’d known!)
Spencer was amazing. He replaced the non working fridge immediately. Sadly that didn’t work either but that says more about the hotel than their employees. I think Booking.com should be more cognisant of their responsibilities to us.

Pros:

Location of the hotel

Cons:

There was no fridge in the room or bottled water, which was in my sister in laws room who actually paid less.
The breakfast was not worth the £25 either, and then they want to charge over £4 if you wanted a latte or cappuccino

A really enjoyable stay in a lovely period property
Pros:

A beautiful period property which was well maintained with lovely gardens and which is very well placed to enjoy Stratford. Breakfast was also excellent

Cons:

The air-con wasn’t working the first night although they had provided an electric fan. It was fixed the following day.

Pleasant welcoming hotel
Pros:

Perfect location. Staff very friendly Rooms very clean

Cons:

Breakfast was confusing, there were menus on the table but actually it was all self service?? You could purchase items, but felt for the price we paid these should have been included.
Also disappointed there was no water in the room
