Cleanliness
8.8
Multiple reviews specifically praise cleanliness and comfortable bedding; no significant cleanliness complaints noted.
Service
8.5
Generally described as friendly, welcoming and efficient by many guests, though a few reports cite unhelpful staff or lack of acknowledgement for complaints.
Location
9.5
Repeatedly described as convenient for travel (near M40, useful for Heathrow) and well located for guests' needs.
Room Quality
6.5
Mixed reports: comfortable rooms and bedding for many, but serious issues for some (broken air conditioning, extreme heat, faulty deadlock, camp bed used instead of twin).
Amenities
7.7
Good lobby/bar area and plenty of on-site parking noted, plus a 24/7 lobby bar; negatives include paid parking and some missing in-room items (no free bottled water mentioned).
Value for Money
7
Several guests found bar/restaurant prices high and parking fees unexpected (one cited principle of hidden charge); a few guests felt it was good value, but overall value sentiment leans negative.
Food and Beverage
8.6
Breakfast is frequently praised (excellent/very good), and food/drink is described positively by some, though bar/restaurant pricing is considered expensive by multiple guests.
Overall Experience
8.2
Many guests report an enjoyable stay and would return, driven by cleanliness, staff and location, while notable negative incidents (AC failure, booking/room allocation issues, unexpected charges, noise) lowered some experiences.

Room facilities were very poor compared to what we would normally expect from Holiday Inn, as we are regular users of th
Pros:

It was conveniently located and the ambience in the communal areas was pleasant.

Cons:

Our room had a blocked sink, which I only found out after I’d go ready for bed and cleaned my teeth. I tried to call reception but the phone wasn’t working and I didn’t want to get dressed again to go and report it. I reported it in the morning when we went down to breakfast but was told that no-one could fix it until after we’d left as the maintenance team weren’t in until after 9am. We had hoped to store perishable food in the fridge in the room as we were on our way to a holiday cottage the next day and the temperature was very hot, but the fridge had been removed from the cupboard. There was a temporary standing lamp in the room but we couldn’t find a way to switch it on. I asked at reception in the evening and was told someone would come down in a couple of minutes, but it wasn’t fixed and as no one came to the room. The shower screen had been left on the wrong side of the rail, presumably by housekeeping, so when my husband had a shower the bathroom was flooded. He is partically sighted so wouldn’t have noticed.
